I use the 4WD when I need it. When I don't it stays in 2WD--just like my truck. Not sure that it would hurt to keep it there but since its an OPTION, rather than sent out of the factory 4WD leads to believe there may be a reason for that.

It's not only ammo, but also gun parts. I like to build different calibers on the AR platform (as well as 5.56) and good luck finding uppers, lowers, or any parts for that matter. Bravo and Palmetto have maybe one or two of a certain part in stock if you're lucky, and 4 pages of "out of stock".

I have a problem with a leak on the front axle (4WD--photos below) that I have decided after watching a lot of YT videos I just do not feel comfortable doing by myself--as in no help lifting, holding in place while I try to seat snap rings, etc. Looks like could be a real task... Anyway dealer...

@dirtydeed that's what I am hoping. I really don't what to try and tackle the lower area. Youtube has scared me out of that... I think.

That's what the dealer said when I went to order the other O-ring. I'm going to clean it up real good and see if I can maybe get a better idea. Thanks for the link.

I will. I also looked at the WSM last night and it actually looks straightforward. Four bolts remove, replace gasket, put back on with spines aligned tighten back up. Luckily the front gear case bevel gear case come off together and in one piece.

That's what a lot of the videos on you tube seem to say. The problem is I THINK my leak is the next gasket after the knuckle (higher). From the oil spread it seems that way to me at least.

That's exactly what I did in June/July. Which may explain why it went away for a while. I do have the WSM...just don't know if its something I can tackle. I don't see that. When I changed it in the summer I pressures washed it and didn't see anything like that. Can you point or circle on...

I have a leak that comes and goes. Right now it 'comes'--maybe because of the cold weather. To be clear, it leaked (very little) this summer in June/July time frame. I figured that I didn't tighten the drain plug good enough on the last change, so I changed the gear oil again the the leak...

About once a month I get a random call from a real person asking me why I keep calling them. So my number is obviously being used as well.

That's probably not funny. Our fellow soldiers, sailors and Marines suffer from depression at a much higher rate, and help is the answer. Their suicide rates are through the roof and I may be alone on this but suicide is never the answer and certainly never funny.

Its a bad idea. You could get knocked off the tractor, someone may come up from behind that you don't hear. etc. The guards are there for a reason...folks that never thought it could happen have died or lost limbs.
