What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

No kidding. Im on prairie soil and I mistakenly thought that the area had dried as we haven't had rain in about a week. I could feel the tractor sliding to the fence and when I looked down my right side tires were a foot into soup. I'm good at doing things that 'take some doing'.

    HST "whine" getting louder L3301

I recently had mine changed. Not sure what was in there as I purchased my L4400 used 550 hours so I'm assuming;) it had been changed before. Unfortunately the dealer used the regular UDT, which is what the manual calls for, but I have noticed it's a bit louder of a whine. I wish they would have...

    SideCar Flip ?

Well I cannot dispute any of that, in fact I told him all of that several times--my painted garage floor topic as an example. But still I got a kick out his knowing more than everyone on here combined and how he would talk about his two tractors regardless of the topic or question.

    SideCar Flip ?

Interesting. Didn't much care for his posts but never thought he was out of bounds.

Mine usually smokes for about 2-3 seconds after starting and then goes away. Hopefully that is normal as stated above by others that know way more than me.

    Hydro fluid question

Manual calls for UDT or SUDT. Just didn't know if it would have been 'better' to use the SUDT or the 2.

    Hydro fluid question

Had to get a 4WD leak fixed and decided to pay the $125 in labor to get the 11 gallons of hydro/filters changed as well. Just received my receipt in the mail today and see that they used UDT when refilling. Should they have used SUDT or SUDT2 instead? Does it matter? 2010 (or so) L4400HST.

Here's why you wear a seat belt with ROPS system

That's actually a very good idea. (y) I'd start it but I've never rolled over.

Here's why you wear a seat belt with ROPS system

Good, valid points. So, I'm assuming that you don't wear your seatbelt in the car as well. After all if you concentrate on what your doing its unnecessary as you can avoid all accidents. I'm also guessing that you have no PTO shields as well since if you concentrate on what your doing all...

Here's why you wear a seat belt with ROPS system

I understand and agree with that--probably should have left it as data denier. However, when 99% of folks in a seatbelt with ROPS are uninjured and 130 folks die from rollovers a YEAR (129 lives saved by the SEATBELT) and folks still want to argue that it makes no difference I think its...

Here's why you wear a seat belt with ROPS system

In reading this thread I'm actually shocked at the number of folks that don't wear seatbelts and think that's a 'stupid idea' to wear them. Further, to say that do not save lives.. data/science deniers I guess? The water argument @NHSleddog ... really... I'd much rather 'struggle' a little...

    Internet in the shop

How far does the wifi extender work and which model did you get. I need about 170 feet to get to my workshop.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Loaded it up on the dealer's trailer to get front 4WD leak fixed and hydro fluid changed. Decided that trying to fix those seals front seals/O-rings by myself might be a bigger job than I can handle.

    Dumb 4WD Question

That's exactly right. Know one thing.. I would never get a tractor without 4WD. I would have been stuck more times than I can remember.
