BX25 loses power after engine warms up

A while back I posted for a friend that had a Deere with this exact problem... although his tractor was made in 1967. Could be your issue. Anyway after replacing the fuel lines, doing pretty much everything you have done he hauled it to the dealer. Tank was rusted and particles were blocking...

New Tractor Operator - Skill Building or Jump In Head First?

Understand (fear) the two things that can (or will) kill you. Roll-over (as stated over and over above) and PTO. Everything else is just fun.

    Trench digger

I thought about that and wish I would have done that from the get go. Since moving here 2 years ago I have buried over 1,500 feet of line.

    Trench digger

Fabrication may be a stretch.... but made. I have been digging a lot to bury direct burial power lines to various spots. Been using a piece of flat steel and it has worked. Recently I changed my bush hog blades and thought they would really improve my digging. The shape lends to a turning of...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Needed to dig a narrow trench to bury some direct burial cable. Made a 'trencher' out of an old bush hog blade and my one row plow frame. This thing works like a champ. The angle of the BH blade rolls the soil perfectly and you have a great little trench.

    Air filters OEM or aftermarket

I used your advice and went and just looked at the photos to compare them. I decided to go with the Kubota ones. There was a complete difference on the inside filter--difference in the materials used and actual design. Maybe it would have been fine but in the end saving $26.00 is great but...

    Air filters OEM or aftermarket

Amazon sells the generic TA040-93230 and the inner filter for 1/3 of the price as the OEM ones. Does anyone see a problem with an aftermarket air filter? I wouldn't probably use an aftermarket oil filter but, reviews on the air filter seem great. Is there really a difference? If so, I don't...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Unfortunately I cannot. For some reason, at the time I thought I would curl/lift against the back of the bucket as to not damage the blade edge of the front--being the back is a flat solid piece of steel. Now I just use them to weave/hang the chain across the top of the bucket. I...

Here is the finished product. The paint is not a perfect match, nor did I think it would be, but close enough given 10 or more years of fading. I used the Krylon "New Kubota Orange". Not sure if my original paint was the 'old' or 'new'.

    Shorten joystick throw

Where did you get that knob? Can you tell me who makes it and if they have a website.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Cleaned up the rust and painted the bucket hooks... No comments (unless suggestions on how to be better) on the welding. It was my FIRST welding job in my life and although not pretty, it is effective (see stump photos).

    L3560 Lug Nut Socket Size

Invest in one of those X lug wrenches that has all four sizes. HF almost gives them away and has saved me many trips to the tool box.

    Brush Hog size L4060

I have an L4400 which is about 43 HP and about 37 at the PTO. My Bush Hog 286 - 72 inch is no problem. Weighs in at about 942 lbs and manual wants minimum of 40 hp. Never had a problem, never run hot. The one your looking at weighs in about 400 lbs more.

We have been knocking out to-dos left and right lately. I’ve been wanting to build an “entry “ to the dock and need a bunch more rock but have it done but for that.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Just coops. They are in the coop, fully covered now 450 sqft area while no one is home. They usually get let out around 3:00 in the afternoon to wander and eat until they all head back in around dusk. We 'lost' our first 8 last year to dogs, woke up to all of them dead and fence broken...
