Fabrication may be a stretch.... but made. I have been digging a lot to bury direct burial power lines to various spots. Been using a piece of flat steel and it has worked. Recently I changed my bush hog blades and thought they would really improve my digging. The shape lends to a turning of the soil out of the trench and makes a great little trench. Just unbolt the one row plow and attach the blade.

If you bend a piece of EMT and bolt it to the shank you can pull your trench and lay the cable at the same time,,, OH yeah mark the cables too

I thought about that and wish I would have done that from the get go. Since moving here 2 years ago I have buried over 1,500 feet of line.

How deep will it bury the lines? I need to do a 100 ft stretch and my hand 12 HP trencher is getting to be a bear for this old man

I used a root cutter with a widening “V” on my backhoe, ( in place of the bucket) with a piece of PVC conduit and a 90 sweeper on the bottom, facing rear. My buddy walked along, feeding buried cable down the conduit, and it really went quick installing a 400’ electrical cable out to my front entry for AC power.
