5 Fall food plots for Nachos.

Thanks for sharing those photos, I'm an active food plotter up here in Michigan, our problem is access to water in the summer and the fact that it's hard to keep the deer off to give the plots time to grow. It seemed a dry few months after planting. Those boar are pretty big! I'm looking to...

Rake or Box Scraper or Grading Scraper

Congratulations on your new machine, I own a L3901 and find it a great size for many tasks. I agree on the comment above about brush hogging the blackberry bushes first to really see the clear ground and what needs doing. As far as smoothing it out, it really depends on the ground and how bad...

Configuring hoses for an L3901, two sets of rear hydraulics, and a QH15

My L3901 rear connections were mounted a little higher, never had any issues but I'm not using a quick hitch. Do you have enough hose length to slide your up a few more inches?

    Snow tires

Another vote for turfs for snow work, I swap into turfs on my L3901 for the winter, back to Ags in the spring.

    Snowblower mods

That's a great mod, I hope it works out, I look at the small shoes on my rear snow blowers they are basically useless as I'm running over crushed stone area around my barn and drive. Let us know how you mod works out.

    Pallet Fork advice bx 2380

You have not really stated what your fork use is. If it is just light work, moving brush etc. I would say bucket forks are OK. You also didn't share if you have a quick attach bucket or if it is pin / fixed mount as this is also a key issue. If you have quick attach the decision for me would be...

Fixing Tractor Tire - Best Option

After 10 years or so of owning a couple of tractors, I have my first tire problem. One of my Ag rear tires on a L3200 will not hold air, the tire is loaded but I do not see any fluid leak. I reflate the tire and after a couple of days it is low again. Who is best to fix my tire issue, my local...

    Woods Brush Bull

Have a used Woods BB72X and a new Woods BB60X, I’ve been very happy with these heavy model cutters. My teenager ran the BB72X on the back of my MX5800, he hit a heavy stump in woodland cover, the old slip clutch pto shaft did not do it’s job, it killed the 75 hp gearbox and damaged the pto...

    Kubota or aftermarket

Take a look at Lown performance for grill guard and chin guard, I fitted those on my L3901: For telescopic stabilizers I recommend you stick with Kubota, they are the best accessory you will ever buy.

    Wood Chipper max/min for L4701?

I run a WoodMaxx MX 9900 on my L3901, the chipper is a beast and feeds 9”. As you analyze I suggest you look at how much you plan to use your chipper and what is your budget. WoodMaxx use 2 hydraulic infeed rollers on many of their models, this is far superior to one driven infeed roller...

    Grapple

Take a look at an MTL CV 60, Total cost delivered $1,300, they currently have them in stock. It is a twin lid compact vertical grapple, I have one for my L series, it has to be the best value for the cost in the market place. It performs very well and is a great match for my L series, actual...

    Latest Price increases

Ordered a GMC 3500 Denali Diesel a couple of weeks ago, I was told it would be at least 16 weeks but likely more. It will come with pieces missing (parking sensor functionality) and hopefully they will finish building it within the first 12 months! Prices just went up again and my price is not...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I have not cleared the snow for the last 6 weeks at my UpNorth place, I had about 16" of icy mix around the barn and about 24" to get off the roadway to my gate. The tractor with a rear snow blower did not seem like the solution, so I used the KX040 Excavator with a 42" tilt bucket, the nice...

New Kubota L series models available this year

Just received email from Kubota about the new L series and downloaded the brochure. Lots of great new upgrades, like the new PTO switch. It may be a while until I upgrade, maybe they will be in stock by then!

Ripper (frost) blade for Kubota KX -033-4

Take a look at Leading Edge Attachments. They supplied me with a ripper and a fang rake for my KX 040. Both items are really good quality and price was reasonable.

    Thinking about pallet forks……

UA 42” forks SSQA full width adjustable, made in USA.I use these on my L series. You can store the frame and forks separately they take up little space. Good luck in your search.

The reality of selling a late model used Kubota in today's market.

You added a lot of options that add up to a fair amount, buyers may not want or see value in all those options, 102 hours may not be a lot but it certainly is used, warranty period is reduced. Selling private needs a cash buyer. I have been a buyer in this situation several times in the last 3...

Log Skidding Winch for Vehicle Recovery

I use a Farmi skidding winch on my MX5800, the winch will potentially pull the tractor over before it runs out of pull capacity. I’d say it could be used for vehicle recovery in certain situations. What are you wanting to recover?

Mx5400 too big for RCF 2060?

You have no worries, you just need to set up your drive line protection (slip clutch) to make sure it is working correctly. Your 60" wide cutter should run well without bogging down. Land pride rate both the 60" and 72" models up to 65 PTO HP. Remember to set up your slip clutch each year to...
