My L3901 rear connections were mounted a little higher, never had any issues but I'm not using a quick hitch. Do you have enough hose length to slide your up a few more inches?

Another vote for turfs for snow work, I swap into turfs on my L3901 for the winter, back to Ags in the spring.

That's a great mod, I hope it works out, I look at the small shoes on my rear snow blowers they are basically useless as I'm running over crushed stone area around my barn and drive. Let us know how you mod works out.
