New to Kubota and looking at L2502 and KX033-4 models

I don’t own any 25HP machines but I do own a lot of Kubota products with emission controls, I’ve never had an issue with any of my emission controlled engines. I’m more concerned about having enough HP and weight to do the tasks I need doing. For me that is an absolute minimum of 25 HP at the...

    3 point chipper?

It sounds like you don’t have serious use for a chipper and don’t want to allocate too much of a budget. Personally I try to buy quality and think long term, I want something that is going to perform well when I need it. A quality chipper I would buy for the HP you have is a WoodMaxx MX8600, it...

    Rake attachment for BH77

I needed a rake for my KX040, Leading Edge Attachments from Jefferson, MA were great to work with to work out a solution. They call this a fang rake. It is supper useful for quick small stump removal and land clearing.

    Wood Chipper...PTO or Independent!

Pto chipper, why have another engine to buy and maintain, although I do have several tractors lol. My WoodMaxx MX9900 chipper is one of my main attachments.

Thoughts on a t-post/tree puller attachment?

I have the Titan tree puller and used it quite a bit with my MX5800 for removing small trees, up to 4” diameter in sandy soil. I would not consider using it on my L3901 and trying to pull 4” trees. Later I purchased a track loader and now only use it on the track loader. The performance on a...

    Pallet Forks

Some good advice and comments here, my input would be only buy forks that are width adjustable and make sure the frame has top hat or tall rear back rack protection in case a load wants to fall back towards you. 42” is a good size for your tractor. Forks are by far one of the best things you...

    Advice Needed for spreading dirt

As commented rough spread with front bucket as you move the dirt, I would then rough flatten things out by dragging front bucket. Box blade can also be used but I would strongly recommend a drag harrow chain which I find does a great simple job of smoothing out areas. Sounds like a great project...

    Wood Chipper Manufacturers

I’m a big fan of the WoodMax MX chippers, most important feature is the dual hydraulic infeed rollers. I’ve never owned a Woodland Mills but a number of threads on here discuss infeed issues experienced by owners. I run my Mx 9900 chipper for many 8 hour days, it is a beast and is super productive.

KX033-4 Excavator Bucket & Thumb Issue

I do a lot of brush and sapling clearing with my KX 040, I never use a bucket or waste time trying to pull saplings, I use a root rake. https://www.digrock.com/fang-raketm/ These guys made me a quick attach fang rake, made sure thumb spacing did not hit the teeth. It’s super fast to remove...

WoodMaxx MX-8500G+ PTO Chipper review - it's great w/o power feed.

I have several WoodMaxx attachments including an MX9900 chipper, the hydro infeed is one of its best features, this chipper is a beast and I spend whole days feeding it with my large woodland acreage. I’ve found they provide very good support for their products, including China made product...

    UTV towing capacity?

Have a Polaris Ranger 900, did some heavy towing in the first year, burned out the clutch and destroyed the drive belt, $1200 to repair, stopped towing wood moving trailer and just use rear bed for sprayer, chain saws and filling with wood, no further issues in last 6 years. I would not use a...

Flat face coupler or ISO 7241-1 coupler for Land Pride Grapple???

Another vote for flat face couplers, had too many leak issues with “ag” style couplers. Flat face will cost more but less issues in the long run.

    Stabilizers vs turnbuckle 3pt implements

Fitting stabilizers as an upgrade to turn buckles was one of the first upgrades that I did to my L3200 and L3901, the telescoping stabilizers make 3pt hitch, mounting and removing attachments a much simpler task, I don’t have interference with either Ag or turf tires. Cannot comment on L2501.

    Moving topsoil

I find that a chain drag harrow does a great job of smoothing out and dressing areas, you can use your four wheeler to drag it around, not too expensive TSC carry a range of sizes. So use front bucket to move and rough spread dirt first.

    SVL75-2 DPF light

Have you cleaned the DPF? Do you have a WSM (work shop manual)? Cleaning the DPF has quite a few pages starting on page G-48. Normally recommend at 3,000 hours. I have a pdf copy of the WSM, send me your email and I’ll forward you a copy. Maybe possible temp sensor or pressure sensor issue in...

    Landscape rake question

Buy a chain harrow, it will do a great job of leveling edges and even smooth your drive, just like what you borrowed. TSC sell them.
