    Decent price for an L3200?

Michael, I have a L3200 2011 HST with just under 200 hours, it’s a great machine, I think the price is about right if it’s in great condition. Confirm if it has had scheduled maintenance. Price on brush hog and back blade seems a little high. Good luck making a decision.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

It was an amazing day in Northern Michigan yesterday, temps were up in the mid to high 60's. It was a great oppertunity to cut a bunch of tree trunks that I had stacked. My Kubota excavator helped to lift the trunks from the pile and then to hold them at waist height while I bucked them with my...

    Laser cut L2501 floor mats

They look great, nice job, I hate to see the floor scratched up too. If you do make more to sell, I’m interested, I believe my L3901 has the same floor as you L2501. I like that they are thin and not too bulky.

    New blower

You are going to love that blower, your driveway will be wide all winter, I run a 6’ wide one, it just throws the snow so far. Great investment.

    B2650 cold climate engine oil - Rotella T6-5w40 or Semi-synth 10W-30?

If you take a look in your operators manual you will see what Kubota recommends, I believe it is 10w-30 or 15w-40. For really cold temps it is 10w-30. I’m not saying that Rotella T6 5w-40 is not a good oil but it is not fitting the recommendation from Kubota.

    Error code 024 SVL 75-2

Things get bad when you have to spray rodent repellent on your track loader, I have the same model SVL 75-2 , I'll get out my traps and poison with the cold weather setting in. I just had my Cadillac CTS at the dealership they said a rodent had chewed through the cabin air filter and had a...

    Buying Advice B2601 or L2501

Good decision on the L2501, you will appreciate its size and weight as you use it. Make sure you think about front and rear hydraulics, loaded rear tires. A must have is the telescopic rear stabilizers on the 3pt arms (under $200). Good luck with your new tractor.

    New tractor hauler

Nice trailer, not sure you will notice your TLB in the back, with that load rating.

    Trailer size for L2501

Based on the information you supplied I would recommend a 20’ long 10,000 Lbs rated trailer, like a 5” channel car hauler by PJ trailers, trailer weight is 2,500. Brakes on both axles. I believe in a little bit of safety factor. Remember the tire load rating will be at the minimum required for...

    Woods Snowblower

I run a woodsmaxx 72 rear snowblower with hydraulic rotary and deflector on my MX5800, very similar to the SB74C you purchased on the same tractor. You are going to like your new toy, oops tool. The MX5800 has plenty of power and weight to operate the blower in deep heavy snow, it’s amazing how...

    Grand L6060 Oil Change

As always this is a personal choice, my view is also based on time, I don’t put a lot of hours on my tractors so 400 hours could take 8-10 years, I like to change my engine oil every 100 hours or no more than 24 months. A good quality oil and OEM oil filter is not a large cost, better to over...

    Looking for a trailer

A 20' 8" beam equipment trailer with 2 x 7,000 lbs braked axles weighs approximately 3,600 lbs, add your 5,000 lbs of MX5800 and fuel / loaded tires you are soon above 9,000 lbs in total weight. Not sure of your year or model of GMC 1500 pick up but you may be overloading, a new GMC 1500 has a...

    Source for small debris forks?

One suggestion is to buy low cost bolt on forks and then just bolt or weld a strip of 3/8" x 4" steel plate across the base of them to keep them spaced and strong. Take a look at these...

    Pro shaft continues to spin

I also had this issue on my L3901, I needed to lube the cable and the engagement pivot point under the tractor, it quickly fixed the issue, I assume your B2650 has a similar set up. Good luck with this.

    Tractor sizing

I see a lot of comments linking tractor size / HP to land area, I appreciate that can be a valid metric. Personally I selected my tractors based on what HP was required to run attachments that give me certain capabilities. I found that many attachments that I was looking at had a PTO HP...

What size snow pusher for L2501?

24” high, 5’ width is wide enough. The model I use is an XP24 made by Express Steel it weighs just over 500 lbs, rear ballast is recommended, if you are using it on a finished area I just put the loader in float and push.
