    L2250 engine oil change

You are correct Kubota recommends 10W-30 for cold weather areas. I use Mobile Delvac Extreme 10W-30 on all of my Kubota tractors and heavy equipment. It’s now synthetic and is available at less than $20 a gallon delivered from Walmart. I only use Kubota filters. Pick a quality diesel oil in...

Got a L3301 without a Bucket, advice on filters before I put a new bucket on

I’d change all oils and filters, including front axle. That way you have a good starting point for future maintenance. Do you have an operating manual, that will confirm your udt question. Good luck with your new to you tractor.

Anyone try a Heavy Duty Grapple on Grand L

I'm glad you made a selection, the MTL grapple you have purchased is about 600lbs how does it feel on the front of your FEL LA1055 ? Are you happy with the grapple build, MTL make many models and are very reasonable. I'm sure prices will go up as the cost of steel is rising.

Rear Basket L Series & MX

I did not think you were being critical. Yours is a neater install, your rops must be narrower than mine as my basket does not stick out either side of my rops. I would have preferred your method if I could use it. My method also involves a few seconds of grinder use on the mesh so that you can...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

“I've found that the infeed drum isn't nearly as bitey as I would like it to be, especially on stuff with stringy bark and wood fiber like elm. One tooth of the drum will catch, but before gets high enough to walk over the end, it slips off and bangs down on the stop bolts. I'm sure there's an...

Rear Basket L Series & MX

Geohorn, your basket was wider or your rops narrower. The 37.5” wide basket was equal to my mid or center rops distance on my L series so I could not fix as you did. My MX has a wider rops than the L series. Your method is very good solution for a narrow rops. It’s very neat.

Rear Basket L Series & MX

Old and Tied, I have a lot of 4’ deep rack that I fill with implements, I like to keep them inside but ran out of space. Large skid steer heavy duty buckets and similar endure the weather out doors, I should have built a bigger barn ...lol

Unloaded and Tried Out my New Dump Trailer Yesterday Track loader with boom pole is very useful for unloading things. Fitted and tested dump trailer operation on the back of L3901, I'm excited to get out and do some some work, this was not the weekend for it here in Northern Michigan, 2 snow...

Rear Basket L Series & MX

Last year someone posted here showing an ATV basket fitted to the ROPS of a tractor. I copied the idea and fitted one to my L3200, it is so useful and allows me to carry a chainsaw, bar oil and a gas can. It still has room for a few other tools or maybe a jacket. I recently fitted another 2 same...

    L3901 Wheel Spacers for stability

I’ve never fitted spacers to any of my tractors, I don’t have hills to worry about. If I was looking to fit spacers I think I would look in the 2-2.5” per side, 3.5”+ seems a large change.

    Bought my first tractor

Congrats and welcome, that’s a nice package of equipment. While you are in the service mode, check and or change the front axle oil. Many users have found their new tractor front axle low or without oil. Good luck with your new machine.

    Tractor Dump Trailer Just Arrived

There are some differences in flow and pressure between models, however most attachments just have hydraulic cylinders, rear remotes generally work the same. The issue comes if you need a certain flow to drive a hydraulic motor, things become more complex. Most skid steer attachments that have...
