County Line 60G sprayer for 3PH

The smaller sprayer market (60 gals and under) seems to have lots of different products with lots of different quality issues. Then you combine the lack of care or just the fragility of many of the components. It seems to be a lottery in what you buy and how well it will last. My suggestion is...

    Bent mid PTO for snowblower

I get a little jealous about those cab tractors with front snow blowers, after reading this thread a rear 3pt snow blower seems a pretty simple set up!

Brand new L3901 - Windshield Wiper Fluid as ballast in Ohio?

That’s the best $185 you just spent, I think those telescopic stabilizers should be standard. If you are looking for a reasonable priced grapple take a look at MTL Attachments. A ballast box is nice and compact for loader work, pallet forks.com is affordable, I added bags of gravel, the receiver...

    Used Blizzard 64 - value??

I think the WC68 is a Woodland Mills chipper, WoodMaxx is another company, they make well made equipment, I use their USA made chipper and a 72” rear snow blower, my snow blower will clear some serious amount of snow, they are heavy duty. when buying used attachments that have gearboxes and...

    L2501 Finish/Grooming Mower - FDR2584 too big???

Another vote on it being too big, I think matching the attachment to your PTO HP is important for good attachment performance, especially on cutting type attachments. Good luck finding a better suited size finish mower.

Knowing When PTO Clutch Is Slipping

Pto slip clutch disks are cheap, as are shear bolts, make sure you do not tighten the slip clutch too much as you may damage your tractor or cutter. Sounds as if you may need to slow down a little when cutting heavier stuff.

    Boom or Boomless

I use a 60 gal skid sprayer with a folding boom on the back of a Polaris Ranger, I like the boom it sprays a very even pattern. Boom is spring loaded and is easy to use in tight places. Sprays well on a windy day with the boom.

Kubota BX Front Snowblower Gearbox Inspection - Video

Great video to explain the problem and the final solution, looks like a low cost repair in the end, we all like those situations!

    Used Blizzard 64 - value??

It looks like a new one with chute rotate hydraulics is about $3,100 to $3,500 (Expensive!). https://www.scottsrecreation.com/New-Inventory-2021-RadTech-Unknown-Blizzard-B64C-64in-3-Point-Snowblower-w-Hydraulic-Chute-Turner-9754327 A competitive model from WoodMaxx for an SB-60 or SB-72 with...

    B/LX trailers

I shopped a number of manufacturers and dealers for a small farm dump trailer my 5’ x 8’ was $4,500 US delivered to my door in Michigan, it’s a very nice product, manufacturer commented that really it is 3 ton rated trailer. Competition was in the same price range and higher. Mines going to get...

    B/LX trailers

I've been looking at small farm dump trailers for a couple of years, in the meantime I have been using a similar size utility trailer. I've battered the utility trailer fenders into trees, broken the lights so many times and just hate unloading that trailer by hand. I finally decided to pull the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

It was time for snow blowing and snow pushing with the MX5800 today, cold day but nice in the sunshine. I caught a log in the rear 3pt snow blower, it certainly did some damage to the auger and the impeller cover plate, it will be a lot of heat / bending or a new auger! Just not sure where...

    Newbie Needs Used Advice

Based on your 10 acre use, I think mid L series could be good for you. Personally I like at least 25 pto HP. You said maybe your budget does not include a new tractor. I suggest you keep your eye out for a used unit. As you see a reasonable used unit holds their value well. Good luck finding a...

Thumbs up for my Kubota dealer

It's good to hear some positive stories. I'm a believer that clear instruction and positive energy normally yield positive results. I've had great luck with my Kubota tractor and my Kubota Construction equipment dealers.

    First time tractor buying advice.

If your budget extends to new, I would buy new, have a warranty and focus on using your machine. I have over 300 acres of woodland and the L3901 is great for getting deep into the woods, it's much more difficult getting my MX5800 deep into the woods. My L series tractors run for a lot more hours...

    First time tractor buying advice.

I own both the L3901 and an MX, PaulL makes good comments above. You have already made the comment about getting into tighter woodland areas which is important. The L3901 is a great machine as it has enough pto HP to run reasonable size attachments. Lots of attachments that I use fit into the...

    SSQA tow mount plates.

I use a boom SSQA attachment made by Titan. The boom is 3" x 3" and 60" long. Note the mount is parallel to the surface of the plate, the plate is heavy, full frame and strong. I also have a UA V2 Receiver plate similar to the OP photo. I would be concerned over making this into a boom for 2...

    Red, Green or Orange??

I think you will be very happy with a cab MX5400 for the use you describe. You do not need any extra weight or lift capacity, save the extra money. I run an open rops MX5800 for all my heavy work on over 300 acres, mainly woodland and have yet to find anything it will not do well. You should...
