I feel your loss. Its been over 10 years since we buried our friend Buddy. Purebred Collie that made Lassie look like a mutt. We picked out, he picked us, Australian Sheperd 9 years ago. Time goes so fast with the ones you love. He's just as adorable now as he was when he was a pup, Avatar pic.

Mine was the same. Painted it the next summer with por15 and top coated with kubota orange. I lined the inside of the chute with ptfe after.

    Questions after 50-hour service

Can't answer your oil questions. I believe the trim goes on the very front bottom edge of the hood.

Craigslist comes through again with a snow blower and a 3-point receiver.

One of the first things I did was line the three sides of the chute with PTFE, poor mans teflon. Nothing sticks to it and my gravel driveway doesn't beat up the paint on the chute.

Fixing thread for hydrolic filter B7000

Did you confirm the thread size? If not why not take the fitting to a supplier and match it up to a bolt. In a pinch you could also turn the new bolt into a tap. Just a thought.

    b2601 quick hitch?

I eneded up buying a new blower with subframe. The B2714C is what I'm using on my B2601. The manual says the B2714C is for a B2650, B3350 B2301 and a B2601. But depending on model even the drive kit is different for this subframe.

another hydraulic control for a snow blower chute question for a BX5450

Are you absolutely sure you are pushing the control stick far enough? You have it push it past the detent when going to the right. Had the same issue when I first installed snowblower and tried to rotate chute.

It's great your finding out where all the wires go. My concern would be why were they all disconnected. If everything works then why?

How do you store your loader when off the tractor?

Presently am using a temporary garage. Shelterlogic. To store the tractor and all attachments in the summer. In the winter I keep the loader and everything I can fit in the shelter. Loader goes on a scrap piece of plywood and stays there until winters over. Once the ground hardens up in the...

kubota 7040 uneven cylinders on loader arms

I'm not saying this will work for you but this is what I did. Similar issue when I had an issue installing loader after the winter. I ended up cycling the cylinders fully in and then out. It resolved the uneven issue for me.

    Oil change recommendation on BX1870

Twice a year. Change it before the grass cutting season and before the snow blowing season. It's a cheap price to pay to help guarantee your engine will last. Which tractor would you buy used. One that had its oil changed every couple of years or one that is over maintained.

    Borrowed Wood Chipper

That's the strangest setup I've seen for adjusting a belt. The only way I see to do it would be to loosen all the bolts and then remove two to shift the pulley end over to create slack.

L3400 won’t start non HST standard transmission.

Hopefully you kept all the old parts. It's great you have it working but the logic was all wrong. Test each part to determine if it's good or bad. Being a parts changer is not the right way to troubleshoot. Way too expensive.

B2601 doing 50 hour service early

You should have used the shop vac trick. Only lost a few drops when I changed mine. Next service I'll dump all fluids.
