Starting a llc and picking up some smaller jobs

Oh yeah, that was all under consideration. Now I am not doing it to make money, but to save money. Wait! WHAT? When we moved here in 2001, roughly 4 acres were in crop. When I put in pastures for our three horses, the assessment came back in 2003 that it no longer qualified as farm land and...

Starting a llc and picking up some smaller jobs

Pickup to start since yields will be minimal. If things pickup down the road, then getting a trailer and delivering might happen, then of course it falls under auto insurance, but for now, no delivering.

Some of you may remember my Post about my B2601 breaking in half!

The only commonality between the 3ph and the HST is the fluid. They both suck fluid from the HST sump, and both dump fluid back in, but that is where it ends. The 3PH is a red herring in all this because the HST is powered by it's own pump. Going back to the original post, no or very low power...

Starting a llc and picking up some smaller jobs

My HO insurance company called yesterday to verify that we did get a new mortgage and the insurance lien changed. While I had them on the phone I asked for a quote on tractor insurance and liability insurance for selling hay. Waiting on a response, but they asked how many bales and how much...

    PTO Tiller ?

+1, have a KK Tiller FM and RCM. The only thing I found, I have a 60" KK Tiller for my B2410, are tree roots suck. I damn near got knocked off the tractor hitting a thick root with the tiller that launch the tractor. Tree roots suck.

    PTO Tiller ?

You have a tractor quite capable of running a tiller, and it will de a better job mixing the soils and prepping the beds than a disc will. You can also use it for mixing in things like Peat, manure, etc. that you cant with a disc. My vote is for a tiller.

    Adding a PTO hour meter

Nice. On the newer tractors with Electric PTO, one could tap the to clutch side as well. Meter only runs when the PTO is engaged.

Some of you may remember my Post about my B2601 breaking in half!

If this tractor is anything like the B2410, there are actually 3 hydraulic pumps in operation. Looking through the shop manual, there is a power steering pump and the 3PT pump which is also the one for the loader and any rears as the PTO is the last in line. The third is the HST pump. The...

First Tractor - Trying to Get Information on 2022 Supply Chain

At least once a week I do a search online for the LA805, and so far nothing has changed.

The reality of selling a late model used Kubota in today's market.

Hmm I wonder if that aircraft carrier was Orange or Green. Kind of slid way off topic here. LOL

The reality of selling a late model used Kubota in today's market.

Ruger FTW! Have 2 of them, a LC9S Pro and AR556. Yes I HAVE carried both while riding my B2410! LOL

Question about installing a sub frame on my L3301 with a 4672A backhoe already mounted to the tractor

My thought on this, take it or leave it, is that while in use, all the stresses from the backhoe are concentrated on the HST case at the three points it is attached, where with a subframe, all that stress is transferred to the entire tractor. Any bit of slop at those attachment points amplifies...

Starting a llc and picking up some smaller jobs

Yeah, this is one of those subjects that sounds good, in your head, until you start looking into liability. Last year when I refinanced the house, we have 5 acres, and majority is fenced pasture for horses, I looked into ways to reduce property taxes. Horses are not considered livestock, so...

Question about installing a sub frame on my L3301 with a 4672A backhoe already mounted to the tractor

Yes, that is correct because the subframe is attached to the FEL mounts and not directly to the tractor frame in that area. On mine it is attached at the very front and to the HST case in the rear, and then clamped to the FEL brackets in the middle.

Did I understand correctly that the bucket barely moves? If so, sounds like the pump is shot, or a line is clogged and that whine you hear is the pressure relief.

Question about installing a sub frame on my L3301 with a 4672A backhoe already mounted to the tractor

When you buy a subframe, part of it is attached to the backhoe itself and replaces the 3PH mounts. Here is an example of one. I don't know which model or tractor it's for, but pretty much like what I have on my B2410 and BH70-X. The parts on the left bot to the backhoe directly.

How do you price out a machine to sell?

It would be not much different than selling an RV or a car. Go to the tractor sales sites, and auction sites, look up the model of tractor, then sort by hours and equipment that is close to what you have, and that will give you a ball park figure to work with. In 2019 I had decided to sell my...

    What is the Farm Bureau

This year I am producing hay from my small 5 acre homesite. We have lived here for 20 years and have had 3 horses. Now down to one, and for tax relief am turning about 3 1/2 acres back into crop. Already have the hay equipment, and just waiting on the FEL to arrive for the tractor to run the...
