Friends don't let friends shovel dirt

Going from memory, the deck is about 10ft. Trailer is just over 13ft from ball to bumper. Does your fit well with the FEL and the BB?

Friends don't let friends shovel dirt

A good friend of mine had 4 yards of dirt dumped in his driveway to add to his garden. That's a lot of dirt to move with a shovel and wheel barrow, so I loaded up the BX and headed over. Made short work of it and didn't even break a sweat...... Best thing is it gave me a chance to figure out...

    BX2200 HST peddle vibration

It could just be me being paranoid, but I try and stay ahead of any issues. Especially since I have some pretty big projects planned for this year on top of weekly mowing. Spreading topsoil for the garden, building a gravel camping pad by the pond and a gravel drive to get to it.....and then...

    BX2200 HST peddle vibration

Hi all, So it is starting to warm up here, so mowing season has started. Machine is a BX2200 with about 1100 hours on it. Full fluid service was done with all kubota products about 100-200 hours ago. I have noticed what feels like some excessive vibration in the HST peddle. I only feel it when...

    Starlink Question

I got mine earlier this year and love it. Of course I am in an internet blackhole. No wired options. Other satellite is terrible, P2P is not an option, Only one cellular data carrier has a signal at my place and only get about 5Mbps down.....plus SIM cards that die every few months. With the...

    BX2200 BXpanded pressure tester issue

It has been a while since I tested mine, but I believe I did it with my FEL attached. Does the male fitting supplied match up with the same style/size as the one on the tractor. With it being older maybe it has changed. I think I sent BXpanded a pic of the connectors I had.

    Time to test the Toothbar

I have heard this before. I believe some people use a piece of 2" pvc with a slit cut in it to cover the tooth bar when the tractor is not in use. I will probably do something like this

    Time to test the Toothbar

I am going to be spreading about 20 tons of top spoil in a few weeks. Interested to see if it makes it easier to get full buckets from the pile.

    Time to test the Toothbar

Time to test this guy out. Bought it over the winter and just installed it today. We are expanding the garden and I want to remove the sod prior to spreading a bunch more topsoil and compost.

    Tips for well line?

Well, good thing I haven’t filled the trench in yet and can easily fix it. Thanks for the info

    Tips for well line?

Mission accomplished. Not a lot of pics though. Ran 4” pvc to run the well line and electrical in. Used my pressure washer with a turbo tip to bore under the foundation and into the crawl space. All that worked well, but still no water pressure and pump constantly running. Pulled the old 1/2 hp...

    Tips for well line?

Lucky for me we still have water, and if we are just running one faucet pressure is usable.....but the wife is pretty patient with this stuff as long as I dont just ignore her/it. Im not keeping/re-using ANY of the poly pipe. The pipe and the electrical will all be 100% new from the well to...

    Tips for well line?

No, but I wasn't really searching for one. The current setup has an outside well house that contains the pressure tank, pressure switch etc. It is a pain to work on anything in it and there is also the possible winter freezing issue to deal with. What I did was build out a new setup in the...

    Tips for well line?

Thanks for the step by step. I was was trying to work through the best method in my head of replacing it if I need to. Before I pull the old supply line and attach the new one I am going to clean up the adapter really well to inspect it.

    Tips for well line?

I took a quick look at mine. It looks like I have a metal cable the runs down and connects to the pump.

    Tips for well line?

Not sure how deep my well is. I talked to a number of different offices with the county, but they don't have well records. If I do have to pull the pump I am hoping it isnt too deep. The water table where I live is pretty high, so I wouldn't think they would have had to drill that deep.

    Tips for well line?

Thanks for all the pointers. The new line will be one continuous run from the well in to the pressure tank in the utility room. I will also run all new electrical from the box to the new pressure switch and to the well. I am planning on running an extra supply pipe for a backup.

    Tips for well line?

I was able to dig down next to the well and then hand dig from the side to find the pipe and electrical. Last step is boring in to the crawlspace and then I will be ready to swap the lines and electrical over to the ones coming from the house utility room.
