    Small project this morning

Yea it is. Worked really well in this situation given the tight quarters that the sod needed removed from. I was able to fit the hood of the BX under the deck and use the FEL to remove the sod. Turned out to be the right tool for the job

    Small project this morning

Always fun when I can help a friend out. Loaded up the BX2200 and headed over. Plan was to remove the sod in the area off the patio and around the pool deck. Then make a gravel walk way from the patio to the hose area, pool deck and shed. This was the first time really putting the new piranha...

Are these the Gator Blades to get?

I need to replace the blades on my bx2200 60" deck (RCK60). I have read people saying that Gator blades cut great, mulch things up more and even help keep the underside of the mower deck cleaner. I wanted to make sure I was looking at the right ones...

    Rototiller for BX2380?

Im not sure what model landpride. I just rented it and requested one for a BX. In both cases the front end was kinda light and didn’t steer great with the tiller on, but not terrible either. Without the FEL on I have a feeling the red one would have been unusable.

    Rototiller for BX2380?

Okay....lol I have used these tillers on my BX2200. The red one was a lot heavier. I had to leave the FEL on for front end ballast.

    BX2380 >NEEDS a Tiller That Covers It's Tracks

I rented this tiller from my local Farm Store/Kubota Dealer. It worked well with my BX2200. I had to leave the loader on to counter the weight. I rented this tiller a couple years back. It also worked well, but was not nearly as heavy. I was able to use it without the FEL attached...

I like Orange. The BX2380 is being considered.

Thanks. Not sure what I do is always advisable, but I have hurt neither the tractor or myself yet. :ROFLMAO: My BX2200 has been able to do everything I need it to do on my 5 acre property. There are times when it would have been faster with a bigger machine, but since I enjoy tractor work the...

Biggest job you have done with your tractor

No huge projects yet, but moved a bit of material. I have a pretty long drive to put in here soon, so that will be a good size job. Setting up my garden to start. Moved 20 tons of top soil 3 years ago. Expanded the driveway to make it easier to park and pull the camper in. Took off the sod...

    Weight Box

I use my box blade. I think it weighs about 300lbs. It does well, Gonna make a tray for the top so I can add more weight. I have spread about 40 tons of topsoil and another 20 of gravel. I always inflate the tires to the max allowed.

    Box blade recommendation for BX

No rear spacers. I have 2 sets of tires. 1 turf and 1 AG. I usually run AG when I am doing any kind of loader/box blade work, but my front ones need the valve stems replaced. It seems to do okay with the turfs on the front, but they get pretty much NO grip in any kind of muddy conditions.

    Box blade recommendation for BX

I got a used 48" King Kutter. It works well for my use. Use it for my gravl drive maintenance, driveway expansion, cutting in to a slope to level for my shed....along with a bunch of other things. Plus I use it as my ballast when doing FEL work. I have very hard dry clay, and the 48" works...

    Large Garden Tips needed

It is topsoil with compost tilled in. I brought in 22 tons of topsoil. Then topped it with 6 yards of compost. Tilled it all together. Hoping for good results. Each year I try and add a little and increase the quality of soil. I started with nothing but clay.

    Large Garden Tips needed

For a tiller I rent one from my local Kubota dealer/Farm Store. It is $100. I pick it up Friday after work and return it Monday morning. It does a really nice job and I would love to have one of my own, but since it is a use once or maybe twice a year for maybe and hour type of attachment for...
