    Muffler replacement

I wish I had a better pic for you. The exhaust manifold pipe bolts to the right side of the muffler. If your muffler was sagging on the left as you stated, then it is not being supported correctly where the manifold bolts in to it on the right side. I would bet there is an exhaust leak there...

    Muffler replacement

Not sure on that one. I took my engine cover off years ago to do some work and never put it back on . Do you mean the right side while sitting in the seat? If so, my muffler broke where the pipe on the right/passenger side went in to the muffler. A combination of rust and vibration. If yours...

    Muffler replacement

I replaced the muffler on my BX2200 last year. Inexpensive and a pretty easy job. Biggest pain was getting the bolt holes to line up right. Mine were off just enough to fight me. Possibly a higher quality muffle would not have the issue. I just got mine cheap off amazon.

    BX24 overflow tank boiling 🔥

I am using a new to me 3pt finish mower this year, so still figuring out best way to mow with it and my BX2200. I really haven't done anything to the tractor cooling wise the last 3-4 years except making sure the coolant level was good and looked clean because it always ran in the normal range...

    BX24 overflow tank boiling 🔥

Following this thread. I have a similar issue with my BX2200 when mowing. I know mowing can cause more heat.

Gonna try the 3pt mower this year.

Seems to be. The real test will be when it warms up and I am mowing every week. Another reason I got it was because I have a lot of tall Cutleaf Teasel growing in the area of my property that I don't mow. I want to be able to cut/knock them down to keep them from going to seed and spreading...

Gonna try the 3pt mower this year.

First time mowing with it. It was still a little wetter than I normally would mow, but not terrible. My first impressions: 1.Cut finish is pretty good, but the MMM is better. I just used whatever blades were on it, so I am sure new blades would help. Overall it wasn’t a huge difference. 2. I...

Gonna try the 3pt mower this year.

I will probably try it with the FEL off. I think it should mow fine without it on. Biggest concern would be if I have to pick the mower up and drive around. The front tires get a little light even with the FEL on.

I have used a ZTR before and they are nice, but not looking to get another machine.

Gonna try the 3pt mower this year.

Depending on the weather later today, I may do a couple of test runs in dry areas to see how it goes and to adjust the height to where I want. I will try and take some pics

Gonna try the 3pt mower this year.

The looking behind might become an issue. I have seen where people have installed a mirror to minimize it. Good thing is I still have the MMM if I decide I don’t like this one. It’s all an experiment

Yes, property is flat and not too may obstacles. A few around the house, but not much besides that. A lot of times the wife will push mow the area around the obstacles to make the tractor mowing easier……she’s awesome like that.

Gonna try the 3pt mower this year.

I heard that the cut quality from my MMM would be better. I’m not a manicured lawn guy. More of a “I keep it cut and weedeated” kinda guy. As long as it is decent with this I am willing to sacrifice some cut quality.

A few around the house, but pretty wide open after that

Not sure the model. I am gonna hunt around on it to see if I can find and numbers. It is older and has surface rust, but everything is straight and the bearings are super quiet. If I like it I will hit it with a wire brush and a can of orange paint.

I picked this 60” 3pt finish mower a few days ago. Gonna try mowing with it this year instead of my MMM. With all the other tractor work I do taking the MMM on and off every week starts to get laborious. If this works well then I will be selli by of my 60” MMM deck.

    LED headlight Bulb

I put LEDs in my BX2200. A nice upgrade from the stock ones, but my bucket is always in the way. My plan is to add ROP's lights here pretty soon for when I am plowing snow. Short days means I am usually doing a lot of it in the dark before or after work. Gotta see and be seen!!!

Can I Attach a Bolt-On Cutting Edge To This BX Series Bucket (Newbie Question)

I went with a Piranha Tooth bar. Less work to install and works better than the factory one.
