Always fun when I can help a friend out. Loaded up the BX2200 and headed over.

Plan was to remove the sod in the area off the patio and around the pool deck. Then make a gravel walk way from the patio to the hose area, pool deck and shed. This was the first time really putting the new piranha Toothbar to work. It definitely made stripping the sod a ton easier. I still need more practice to get the depth right and the surface level, but over all a success.

The deck was tall enough that I was able to get under it with the loader to get the majority of the sod off. Always nice to minimize shovel work.

Didn’t quite get all the gravel spread, but got it out of the driveway. Not too bad for a few hours of tractor therapy.

The BX is a real work horse.
Nice job.
Yea it is. Worked really well in this situation given the tight quarters that the sod needed removed from. I was able to fit the hood of the BX under the deck and use the FEL to remove the sod.

Turned out to be the right tool for the job
