Hmmmm. How many gallons diesel to get from your place to New Hampshire. Lol.

Estimate to install Kubota second rear remote and top and tilt.

Thanks Dan. So my dealer estimate is in ballpark. I'm bringing tractor in for "complimentary" 50 hour service in a few weeks. Kill 2 birds with one stone.

Estimate to install Kubota second rear remote and top and tilt.

Ok. So not sure if you mean reasonable or not reasonable lol. I am not adverse to installing myself as I am handy and mechanically inclined ( but not a mechanic and not familiar with tractor work. ) I don't have an inside space that tractor fits in ( cab ). Salesman said a "few hours labor."...

Estimate to install Kubota second rear remote and top and tilt.

Want to install 2nd rear remote and top and tilt kit on my L6060. Quote from local Kubota dealer "about $1000 for top and tilt setup and $800 for second remote plus labor." Does this sound reasonable?

Hydraulic Top N Tilt. Float valve or no float?

I have one rear remote ( kubota dealer installed) and would like to get a top and tilt kit for my L6060 cat 2 3pt. So three part question. 1) Do I need to have a second remote installed or is their a device that can switch between the top and tilt function that connects to the one remote? 2) if...

Thinking more about the pins perhaps a clevis ring would be more resistant to being pulled out than a hairpin clip. I'll head to TSC tomorrow. Really appreciate all the wealth of help and advice from all on the forum. Very much appreciated as I get the hang of the big tractor routine.

Thanks Paint. Yep, the pins are bent by design. Just funny to me that dealer delivered them "upside down," I've only got 25 hours on tractor thus far and still discovering all the details. I have not used the 3 pt much and just finished the frame and receiver hitch for a carryall. I do use the...

Thanks guys. Sounds like I'll be ok as long as I keep an eye out. I assume that both pins would have to release for the lower arms to swing free as even one that's pinned prevents lateral swing.

Interesting platform. Would be handy when building shed/barn. A few questions come to mind. May I assume you raise the platform to the desired position and then climb onto it with ladder? And are there any issues with the hydraulics bleeding down while you are using it? Thanks for sharing.

Installed Pat's quick hitch system on the L6060 between the downpours. Will double check nuts and cotter pins as skies opened up just as I was nearly finished. Also noticed the pins that maintain the 3 pt hitch lower arm spread seem to be upside down. Please see pics. Would it not be more stable...

Thanks Green. Haved learned the hard way that double the space and double the storage is a minimum. Tight quarters is inefficient.

Thanks RC. Have had 2 foresters out for assessment. Unfortunately, lot had been poorly managed prior to my acquisition. Foresters say timber is essentially worthless. Thinning and clearing for firewood was recommended. Appreciate your input.

Appreciate and understand your point. I do have some time and can start with only a small area. If larger volume in a short time is required in the future, your advice is spot on. Thank you.

Hello gang... I have 50+ acres that I will be partially clearing with a L6060, a KX033 mini-ex with a ripping tooth, and a 1 ton dump truck (GMC 3500 HD diesel). Mostly hardwoods and generally sloped land, steep in spots. Plan on clearing 2-5 acres for house, farm, septic, PV panels, etc. The...
