    Hydraulic top link questions

Thank you so very much guys. Invaluable information. I'll try out your tips and report back later today. I wish the manual and/or the dealer were as forthcoming with details as you all are. Thanks!

    Hydraulic top link questions

Thanks Dan. Lever #2 does detent and stay in the forward position, #1 does not and returns to center when released. #2 is connected to tilt cylinder. Tomorrow I'll detach BB and see if I can move the tilt cylinder by hand when in the detent /float position. If this works, I should be able to...

    Hydraulic top link questions

Thanks again STD. Am I right in thinking the float lever goes in that empty slot. I'll call dealer Monday to see about float installation. Wish I were savvy enough to know to ask for this in the first place. They are coming out in 2 weeks to do 200 service on my mini-ex. Wonder if they can do...

    Hydraulic top link questions

Thanks STD... I do have extendable lift arms but that still requires getting out of cab to pin. With Pat's only have to muck with top link. Wouldn't any QH system push the implement attachment point rearwards requiring a longer top link? Wouldn't getting a Speeco or equivalent Cat2 QH leave me...

    Hydraulic top link questions

Thanks Dan. By now, I am totally confused. Lol. Tomorrow when I get back to my woodlot, I'll take multiple pics and post here. Perhaps the pics will be more clear than the way I am trying to describe the issue. Appreciate all of your efforts gang.

    Hydraulic top link questions

Yes Woodman. I do have 2 levers for the rear remotes (not shown in my pics), 1 for each cylinder. The default position is centered and returns to center by spring action when hands are off. Forward and rearward movement of levers lengthens and shortens the top and tilt cylinders. I'll get...

    Hydraulic top link questions

Thanks for response. New implements. Both Cat 1 and Cat 2. Forgive my ignorance, but wouldn't any quick hitch move the attachment point rearwards? Are there specific brands/models of quick hitches you would recommend that are cat 1 and 2 compatible? I am reading manual on the rear remote...

Did not realize I could manipulate cylinder by hand. I'll give it a try. Thank you!

    Hydraulic top link questions

Just got L6060 back from dealer for 50 hour service and installation of top and tilt kit. I have Pat's quick hitch system on lower arms. This pushes my implements back making the manual top link (34 inches eye to eye ) relatively too short to easily reach the implement top hitch. This has been...

It's a disease that has no cure..........WTF did he do now???

I hope you don't have a sudden "rumbling" need of the colonic type with that table over the toilet. It'd be quite a scramble to get the table moved in time.

The backhoe gets in the way of the other 3 pt attachments.

New Tractor Advice for a newbie please

No questiom when it comes to backhoe vs. excavator IMHO. Excavators are far more efficient and easy to rent for the occasional times you will need them. A backhoe takes up space at the rear of your tractor, is not as easy to detach and re-attach as the manuals/videos suggest, take up storage...

    If you never believed Darwin

I never put my tractor on my head for exactly this reason.

Yeah, it's a classic story taught in neuro anatomy. As far as a penis gauge goes, wouldn't a tape measure work?

hydraulic fluid level; sight glass ... beginner error

Glad you are healthy enough to post! I assume there are no performance issues with the dye?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Fired up WoodMaxx chipper for the first time. My first PTO driven implement experience. Even with deflector all the way down, overshot the truck. Finished and found windshield and hood covered in chips. Will have to park truck on uphill side tomorrow. Thanks for feedback Paint. I'm new to...

hydraulic fluid level; sight glass ... beginner error

I have that issue with my KX033 mini-ex. Round sight glass. Fluid is damn near clear so cannot see if sight glass is full or empty. Took a tape measure and dipped it in tank. Measured out to be just above the sight glsss.

Blue Tooth Radio, Phone Holder, USB, Antenna and Cup Holder Upgade

Slick upgrades. For the radio, did you require an additional wiring harness or was it plug and play? I'd like to upgrade to BT as well. I called crutchfield a while back but they were unable to verify if a harness was needed. On your phone holder, there appears to be no restraining clips that...
