What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

About to go do the same. It is my fault, I said it was a weak winter in late January.......and it has been dumping ever since. But I also stated this crap needs to stop promptly on April 1st. EDIT: Just got done, if I take my time and really clean things up it takes me ~1:30 with the tractor...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Congrats. We added one in November after a 6 month wait......enjoy it !!! Our dealer carried it to exactly where we wanted on the deck I built for it........but I also didn't have pallet forks at the time either

    Snowblower Gravel adapter

Nice mods. I also have a blower for the gravel drive and rear blade.......so far I have been good running the shoes up as high as they go and then cleaning the last inch or so with the RB behind me. I found the magic number to be running the 3pt at 4-6 depending on angle of the blade to keep...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Another hour or so clearing the driveway of what was supposed to be just 2-4". I went out at 5:30 and cleared things and noticed the snow picking up more.....over the next 3hrs picked up another 2" so another round of clearing for this morning. I really don't mind winter, kinda enjoy 3-4...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Looks like another nuisance snow this evening into tomorrow here in NH maybe 2-4"....... mostly likely will end up using the rear blade to gather it all in the middle then blow it off the driveway with the blower in one pass. Might think about adding fuel.......that is one thing that has really...

Shopping for Snow Blowing Turbo Tractor - LX3310?

i run a front blower and rear blade combo on my 2601 (similar to GP's original setup) and it is perfect for my northern New England winter maintenance. The blower is great for actual dumpings of 4"+ but in between those actual storms we get plenty of 1-3" dustings that if left alone become...

    Must have tools - B2601

All good suggestions........I found that I needed the large 1" ratchet set right off the bat dealing with the large nuts and bolts on the 3pt implements when I got my QH......my regular sets did not have sockets large enough. I keep open end wrenches of a couple key sizes in the little on...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Perfect. Thank you, I was about to start looking for exactly this.....a small elbow to try various angles on to redirect the exhaust. For $6 it is certainly worth a try !!!! Appreciate it.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Spent a few hours the past 3 days snowblowing and clearing the driveway. I love the combo of the blower and the rear blade. Finally found the perfect setting on the RB for the gravel driveway so it doesn't dig in too much but clears the last 1-1.5" left by the blower. Now I need to look into...

    RPMs

Same issue with the blower on my B2601. I don't really mind as it takes 12 to maybe 17 seconds for me to wipe it off but I wanted to let you know you aren't alone.

using tractor to pull a stuck car/truck/rv

Several years back when I was younger and had more time I had a very nicely modded 7.3L F-250 that would come to the office with me on crappy weather days. The office park entrance has a very long steep hill, all the fancy pants folks would be stuck on that hill with anything over 2" of snow in...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Yesterday like others took care of the 5" of powder with the blower and rear blade. That "storm" was laughable but this has been a very light snow year........bring it on !!!

Box Scraper VS Grading Scraper - l2501 - Which to choose?

Looking quickly at your pics I would think the Box would work nicely to dig in and fill in those voids and shape it a bit for drainage. I'll let others with more experience chime in but I wouldn't hesitate to attack that with the box blade. On the other hand, the dog will have to move.....the...

Box Scraper VS Grading Scraper - l2501 - Which to choose?

What he said ^...... I have a BB1260 as well as a Rear Blade RB1560 (no land plane) and between the two I can do whatever I need on my 500' gravel drive here in NH and my 600' one in VT. Great advice above on how critical understanding the top link impact is to the box blade, between the top...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Had the service truck out to install wheel spacers. They were ordered with my tractor but on backorder so I appreciate them sending the service rig out to handle the install....with loaded tires it is a PITA. Sure is nice to have a guy with a crane for that part....... Note to self......"need...

    54" or 60" Box Blade for B2601

I have both a RB1560 Rear Blade and BB1260 Box for my 2601 and I feel those are good sizes for this particular platform. Wide enough to cover the tracks...... Clearly I like 60"

Custom Made Winterfront Kits for your Kubota Tractor

bird dogger - Would be interested in ones for the B2601 when ready.....at the very least they would be good for winter warm up and the front for keeping snow out when blowing the light fluffy stuff....

    Dovetail or Flatbed Trailer?

This is kinda timely as I was looking the other day at a 22' 15K GVWR tilt bed for possible Spring purchase. The dovetail with ramps were fine but once I added some of the features I wanted the tilt bed was only maybe $500-800 more...... I was thinking the 14.5' tilt portion was more than...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I pulled the silly "grate" that was mounted on the chute of the snowblower and likes to cause clogs. I also sprayed it all down with a non-stick product. Small things......
