    Brand new owner. Ballast?

While I don't have the L, I have the ever popular B2601, I do have the BB1260 as well along with loaded tires on Wheel Spacers. For what it is worth, I did a reasonable amount of FEL work last year with both dirt and stone and the loaded rear tires and the BB1260 provided plenty of stability...

    BX 2230 box blade

I run the 1260 on my B2601......it feels like it might be a little on the upper end for a BX and the 54". if you can get a 54" (I never looked at them personally) might be the ticket.

Box Scraper VS Grading Scraper - l2501 - Which to choose?

Awesome. You're the customer so as long as you are happy with the results. It looks good. I found with the BB trial and error and making small adjustments helped me up the learning curve along with a few you tube vids Good luck !!!!

    Diverter for hydraulic top link

Damn. Now you got me thinking.......this winter I found myself thinking about a hydraulic angle adjustment for the rear blade......as I blade snow from one side of the driveway to the other for drainage reasons so I need to flip the rear blade for each pass up or down the 500' drive. Not the...

    Drag Harrow.....gravel on lawn

It's funny, I lucked into something that worked decent with the powerhead. I have a 4 stroke and 2stroke and decided to try the 4. When I rebuilt the carb and fuel system this winter I purposely left the idle up a little higher than normal. Well, that kinda works perfect for the sweeper as...

    Drag Harrow.....gravel on lawn

Update: I got the power sweeper attachment that fits trimmer power heads....... I have a couple Troy Bilt powerheads that I have running like tops thanks to pandemic time to rebuild carbs etc. The sweeper works well......it is a bit of a beast and not something you want to do for an hour...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I jinxed all of Northern New England by pulling the blower and putting the loaded back on. My "blower dolly" worked like a charm......Wife helped me line things up this time, worked out well

How I got a Land Pride 3rd FUNCTION ON MY B2601 for $295

Well sounds like they changed it for 2021 then. It was 20% and it was amazing. Luckily we have belonged to equine groups for years........it was about damn time the horse paid me back. The 20% really added up for me as it was on the implements purchased with the tractor as well :-)

How I got a Land Pride 3rd FUNCTION ON MY B2601 for $295

Not sure how hidden it is/was as it is mentioned fairly often in the Buying forum here. Anyone can join an equine org and get the discount, but we actually have a horse and my wife is a member of many orgs so we easily qualified.

How I got a Land Pride 3rd FUNCTION ON MY B2601 for $295

I don't believe I did. The dealer told me there was some overlap in the kits and that is why it made sense to do both at the same time, the price for the 3rd function and deflector were less in reality than the two elements priced separately initially. Plus with the 20% equine discount it was...

How I got a Land Pride 3rd FUNCTION ON MY B2601 for $295

I have the 48" commercial blower, I also have a 3rd function kit installed by dealer just "because". The box switch for the hydraulic chute is mounted to the dash.....at least on my install it is..... 3rd function is on the stick Just figured I would throw that out there.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

No doubt.....I figure I can offload the blower in the garage onto the dolly and wheel it to its summer resting place......that is the one implement I don't want outside all summer if I can avoid it with the hydraulic hoses and electrical connection......why add exposure when you don't have to...

    Box blade or rear blade?

I have both and for the dirt work, Box blade hands down if you need to really dig and level. I "could" do some of that with the RB and loader but the BB is really made for that. The RB is the cat's ass from a snow perspective when combined with the blower, which is the setup I use. That being...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Since we have had a stretch of warmer weather and the 15day forecast doesn't look like any real snow threat is on the horizon, I took a quick minute to pull together a "dolly" for the blower. I have some casters on order but had 2x10" PT hanging around from a deck project last year. Simple...

    Drag Harrow.....gravel on lawn

Oh outstanding.......my house is surrounded by large oaks and last year with the drought around here it was like every tree flipped a switch to fight for species survival.....I literally have a carpet of acorns that we rakes to the edge of the yard. The large pines weren't far behind with a...

    Drag Harrow.....gravel on lawn

Bingo.....had one on order as of this morning !!!! I have a couple if strong running power head units in the shed so I ordered up a simple Ryobi attachment that should be compatible and if not I can easily return it to the "Big Orange Box". Funny, COVID lept me cooped up a bit like everyone...

    Drag Harrow.....gravel on lawn

Hmm......sounds like the cheapest way would be the smaller trimmer attachment for a power broom....... Although the harrow might work for the large stuff.......seems a little aggressive.

    Drag Harrow.....gravel on lawn

So......the winter combo of front blower and back blade worked fantastic. That being said, as thing softened up I ended up with a decent amount of loose gravel and aggregate (gravel driveway) along the edge of my drive and then of course I blew that crap all over the lawn........oops.... As...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Did a quick blade of the driveway as the 1" of snow followed by freezing rain froze up overnight and while today is mid 40s out, the lack of sun probably wouldn't have melted it all away......so I played with the tractorin the schloppy mess......
