What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Solid day of work right there. I hear ya on feeling a little beat up after some seat time. Let's be clear here, this is a first world problem to an extent as it is a heck of a lot easier than doing things by hand but even after a couple hours in the seat I will feel a little back fatigue...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Before the snow flies I wanted to get some additional RAP (recycled asphalt) to level off some sections of our ~700+ driveway. Got another 12 ton delivered yesterday and got about 2/3 spread over a couple hours with the B2601 Been a while since I needed the tractor for a project, not that I am...

Kubota K Connect Snowblower problems explained.

From my cheap seats of experiencing this over the past couple seasons and forking over the $700...... While the design certainly has pros/cons this wreaks of a bad batch of couplers and just a straight up shoulder shrug from Kubota. If you have read through this thread and saw what my coupler...

Kubota K Connect Snowblower problems explained.

This is my feeling as well. @jsteinhauer pics above look like my original failed couplers (which I still have hanging around in my garage). The new replacement ones seem to be handling things as I originally intended based on my documentation of the use etc. here in this thread. The 23/24...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Got a few inches of snow late last week and the back blade and front blower made quick work of it. Been a light ....very light winter to date (of course now that I said that.....) Finally had a little time with my friend who is an electrician so we put in a few outlets into the Morton Building...

    Rear Blade Angles

For the OP's intended purpose the back blade will work fine......chances are the 6' will be fine if he has enough traction. I run a similar setup on my B2601......blower on the front, 5' blade out back for my gravel drive. Commonly flipped around backwards to be less aggressive on the...

Just to keep documenting things as we go along here in Winter 2023/2024....... Here is a pic of the new couplers as of this morning with about 2-3 total hours of blower run time so far since replacement.

B2601 Wet Exhaust on Cold Start-up

As just another B2601 datapoint......I run mine for non-PTO work at 2000-2100 Rpm normally and then when blowing snow with he PTO, wide open. With ~140hrs on the clock now, I have never noticed any drools coming from my exhaust on start up. Plenty of "soot" per usual.

Kubota K Connect Snowblower problems explained.

First Storm Update: We finally got enough snow to need to actually do something with it. 12-14" of powder yesterday here in NH. While the tractor was warming up I pulled the cover and verified the couple was matched up nicely and didn't get bumped around some how (eliminating all...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finally got some snow here in NH......10-14" of nice powder which will be a mess in 36hrs as we are set to get another 2-4" of snow then 1-2" of rain tomorrow night....... Repaired blower worked well as it should for a $700 repair on a "commercial" blower with <35hrs on it. We'll see how it...

No snow blower usage yet, happy new year

We're supposed to get 6-12" here in NH tonight from one of the most over-hyped storms in recent memory. Haven't fired the blower up yet since having to pay to have the couplers replaced at only ~35 hours of residential use. Of course the ground isn't really frozen which means it will be a...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Got creative this weekend to get the blower off the old pallet from the service dept that was then on top of my rolling dolly. Wife spotted for me and was a coconspirator with strapping the unit to the forks........ Was able to place it back exactly where we needed it on the rolling dolly to...

Let's be clear here......the Ram 2500 is my truck.......and she is temporarily driving it as I take over the 2009 GX470 SUV with hunting gear during the season with the dogs.....as I refuse to let her stink up the new 2023 Toyota Highlander with her horse crap and equine gear.......and I also...

Kubota K Connect Snowblower problems explained.

We are getting a mix of crap overnight that will wash away with rain during the day......that being said I pulled the tractor out of the Morton so I can put the Ram 2500 in there when my wife gets home from the barn this evening.......then the tractor goes in back of the truck.....why let the...

In the next couple weeks I will swap out the FEL for the blower and I will over validate everything is together as intended and will take some pics etc. If this new part wears more correctly than the original dogs, I will place my chips on the Chinesium metallurgy as well.......
