    Bx22 won’t move when warm

Are you in North America or the UK? ( I own a classic British car and it nearly sounds like a term I have heard over on the UK car forum) Are we talking US Dollars, Yen, Pounds Sterling, Pesos or? How old is your hydraulic fluid?

Please don't start multiple threads on the same topic if you truly want help. Geez man. And oh yeah, "please use more words"

    Chiropractic footrest!!

Thank you - - but my comments were actually about your new foot rest (My grammar was poor, so my questions were not clear--oops!) I like your inventions. Cheers Mike in NB, Canada aka "ve9aa"

    Chiropractic footrest!!

I like your mower deck belt cover. You're a bit like me...function over form. If it works out, I presume you'll paint it, rubberize it (GreensvilleJay) and attach it in some way? I like it !

    sigh....

This would be interesting as an: "ID this piece of metal" type of thread. I, too, though it looked kinda like a large staple, but I have no idea what it actually is. I'll log my guess as: Neighbour was sloppy cleaning up after rebuilding a large engine,(or other mechanical project like...

Mainers Are The Most Friendly Folks

I put free stuff out at the end of the road every few months or so. I just put big signs on it that say "FREE" however. I don't use that other word. I want the stuff to go, not for the new potential owner to question its cleanliness...lol I can't recall what it was now (many yrs ago) but had...

    Leveling a deck on a BX...what a PITA !

I must have lower standard's than y'all. As long as it's not 2" or more out side-to-side I call it good. I am not mowing a golf course ! To me (and this is just me) if it's 1/8" out side to side, I would never even know, let alone care.

    Ballast for B2601

OMG I love this...I wish I had thought of this ! The only thing I'd add is the cans'"lid" overtop of Oscars head. (for full authenticity)

    BX ballast-400lb enough?

The BX's primary purpose (believe it or not!) is to snowblow. Here in a high spot in NB, Canada we get cr@zy amounts of snow. It is not unusual to wake up to 4' drifts or even more. I could tell stories, but I won't bore you. 2nd purpose is a backup mower to my TG1860. My yard is ROUGH...

    Ballast for B2601

I really like it ! I'd paint the wood and leave the rest like Skeets sez. Do you get subzero temps? ie: do you have drain holes below each pipe for water to flow out?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

It was just too hot and horseflies were killing me, so no pix :-( (I love pix, but none this time) In 2.5hrs I : -Mounted a new Land Pride weight box (WB10), just rec'd , filled it and put it on the 3pt (see thread elsewhere) -Moved 150lbs of bricks from point A to point B -Dug up some...

Most terrifying moment on a tractor in years

I was sitting in a long lineup Thursday with my Harley, waiting to get gas at the cheapest place around. I was cooking in the heat(ATGATT)...slight up-grade and the low fuel light came on. I finally pumped in $36.50 (17.5L) into an 18L tank. I was sweating(cooking in the heat) and sweating...

    BX ballast-400lb enough?

Hey Y'all Not much I can do about this at the moment, but with the quick hitch, ballast box, and various stuff in the box( weighed it all), I am at almost exactly 400lbS on the 3pt. (in the summers I ALSO have the 200lb MMM mounted.) I won't be filling my tires. My yard is mostly flat and only...

    Trailer ball mount

I looked for this at Princess Auto y'day to slip over a pallet fork, but couldn't find it. Thought it was a good idea. Maybe better than drilling a hole in a fork? fork ball mount

Any Kubota mowers with "suspension" for rider?

I am in a "mountainous" area NW of Fredericton, NB....in farm country. My 2ac yard I mow is just old cow pasture. Was never developed or had any topsoil of any kind added. Basically I have an inch or two (sometimes more) of what I'll loosely call 'topsoil'...really, just whatever accumulated...

Any Kubota mowers with "suspension" for rider?

I guess I should've also mentioned that I am in NB, Canada, so no Ferris or Toro* dealers are nearby. I do appreciate the comments. The Ferris looks awesome. Getting it worked on would be a nightmare however ;-) The one *Toro "dealer" near me is not much more than a hole-in-the-wall and I...

Any Kubota mowers with "suspension" for rider?

I own a newer BX2380 and an old n' tired TG1860....so far, engine runs strong, but everything else is battered/worn. The BX is rough on my bones mowing 2 ac of old farm field. (looks like a lawn, but is not a real lawn) The TG is not too bad, but I am sure its days are numbered. It's 20-22yrs...
