I had the same problem with the right and top links and side to side turnbuckles. All jam nuts have a lock washer below them now. Have had no issues since then.
Be careful using Thunderbolts. The powder amount seems inconsistent; You will get Pop, pop, BANG. My kid shot them and got a squib. The barrel and bolt was ruined. I took all of mine and put them in a post hole.

I used mine to dig out 5 bushels, mostly Kennebacks. I had my top link at the shortest length; my thinking was to make it dig deeper and more aggressively. I didn't destroy too many. There will be some more ready next month.
