I could be wrong but on my monitor it looks like it may be painted Kubota grey. Nice job on the guard!

LX2610 Manual Says No Tire Fluid When Operating the Loader

When I purchased my loader equiped L2501 my dealer had me sign a pre-printed disclaimer saying I opted out of having the tires filled as per their recommendations. My son works for a tire company and I gave him the business.

    B7100 start issues

I replaced my battery on my HST B7100 with a good battery with higher cold cranking amps compared to the cheaper ones I had been buying. I just came in from plowing driveways and the temp was 9 F. The tractor starts much easier in these cold temps than ever before. I assuming it has to do...

Sayings you remember from years ago

When I was a kid, Saturday morning was the only day of the week I could lay in bed. My Dad worked third shift as a policeman and when he got home at 7:30 and still found me in bed his saying was "do something, even if it's wrong!". LOL. He was an amazing man and miss him. Always kept busy...

    Broadcast Seeding Tips

Sawdust is often used as a carrier for broadcasting or in seed boxes. it would be good if you could time the broadcasting just before a fresh snow. I would shy away if high winds are in the forecast.

    B2910 Howling under Dash Cowling

I had a 69 Dodge Coronet and when driven in the cold the Speedo would peg at 120mph and make what I would describe as a howling sound. The drive cable was not broke but needed to be disassemble, cleaned and re-lubed. I chalked it up to the old lube had thickened especially when cold.

    B7100 start issues

My late model B7100 does not have a decompression knob. I think the OP’s is a late model also from the year stated.

    L2501 tie rod end

The dealer sent a tech out after the nut fell off and tie rod end fell off . After replacing it , it was determined the original tech that had set the tractor up neglected to set and adjust the toe in. That might be something you may need to check if it has not been done already.

This should be interesting next growing season. Six foot Landpride cutter

All good replies! i maybe basing my expectations on pulling a 430 lb King Kutter 48 inch behind my 13 pto hp B7100. The 5 foot rule would dictate a cutter barely over 2 1/2 wide. I have pulled that thing in high gear cutting dense cool season grasses, 1 inch plus oak saplings, up and down hills...

This should be interesting next growing season. Six foot Landpride cutter

Could you expound on being too heavy? My understanding is that this cutter is still weighs 50% less than rated lift capacity 24 inches behind pins? I find it interesting that Landpride Kubota matched document lists a 72 inch 745 pound cutter ok on the L3301 which has a three point lift capacity...

This should be interesting next growing season. Six foot Landpride cutter

I made a trade + cash with a friend that had this RCR1272 brush cutter he no longer used. He wanted my little King Kutter 4 foot that I used behind my B7100. Starting this coming growing season I need to do some maintenance mowing in my native species oak/savanna. I will be hooking up to a...

    Goldenrod Control

The largest stand of Goldenrod was an existing stand when I purchased the land(2017). All around it I had completed forestry mulching, a round of Milestone and one of Roundup. Then followed by a fall no-till drilling in of a diverse native mix, 40+ Forbes, 6 native grasses. I think this is...

    Goldenrod Control

I think its a shame that Canada Goldenrod can form a monoculture . It really is a fantastic late season pollinator plant species. I have two stands that I have been monitoring to keep in check. On a still late August or early Sept day there are thousands of insects, from the smallest sweat...

    Goldenrod Control

Thats the reason I asked what Daves goals for the meadow was. The US fish and Wildlife biologist I worked with was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about plant species and the control of . If Daves goals are to establish native species and control invasive species I stand by my recommendation of...

    Goldenrod Control

Dave, I am curious as to what species of goldenrod your dealing with? As I am sure you know there are many species , some more weedy and invasive than others. Canada Goldenrod(Solidago canadensis) is usually the culprit when it comes to forming a monoculture and out competing other native plant...

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

My little mixed breed rescue pup turned 10 years old this month. I have gravitated toward larger breeds all my life and was a bit hesitant about adopting a small dog a decade ago when Mya came home with me. I envisioned a ankle bitter and lots of yapping! lol. She is however one of the...

    L2501 Modifications

Along the lines of this thread is a recent YouTube video that will chronicle adding a turbo and tuning a John Deere 1025R for more power. I am hoping a lot of the information presented will give us L2501 owners additional knowledge. Also Looking forward to the OP and final results with his...

What does everyone collect or do for a hobby?

I have had small collections over the years. 1966 Plymouth Satellite convertible, extremely nice riding road car 1969 Dodge superbee clone , nice running, not so nice for long road trips, lol. Some nice vintage 22 autoloading pistols, including a few Colt Woodsman's, Hi-Standards and first...
