    Daily Chuckle

I always thought the reason the chicken crossed the road was to prove to the opossum that indeed it was possible.

New L2501 on the way, any advice as far as what to be on the lookout for?

Besides the front axle being low on fluid also check the right front tie rod end. This is part of the dealer set up and mine was missed and at least one other user on the forum had a similar issue. When the dealer tech came to my house to fix he discovered the toe-in was not set correctly...

Native species planting, habitat creation restoration projects

If anyone has a interest in seeing the native forbs and grasses that I planted here is the order form. These seeds where chosen for the type of soil I have and my geographical location. The ones marked in yellow had to be ordered from a different vendor. Most native seed vendors strive to...

Native species planting, habitat creation restoration projects

To be clear the weevils where imported and introduced roughly 20 years ago in central Wisconsin. In another words , all ready part of the landscape. (sigh). My seed mix contained about 43 native wildflowers including two milkweeds. Common and butterfly weed. The host plant for the...

I have been , with help , spot spraying the knapweed Basel leaves before they bolt. At this point with so many of the natives species coming it there would be too much collateral damage using 2-4-D and a boom type sprayer. The herbicide of choice for Spotted Knapweed is Milestone. I do have...

Native species planting, habitat creation restoration projects

As some may know here on the forum I am involved restoring a former Christmas tree plantation back to a native oak savanna. I would love to hear from others your experiences with your native species projects and how your tractors and equipment fit into your work. Please share things such as...

    LA525 Loader now LA526?

It was my understand, from watching videos , so take that with a grain of salt, LOL, that the L2501 and L4701 are continuing but not getting the upgrades the new L3302 and L3902 have. This screen shot is from the Kubota USA site. Shows the 3 variations of the L2501, L3302, L3902 and the L4701...

Starting a llc and picking up some smaller jobs

“I'm really wanting to try somthing on my own. “ This world is full of people who have/had the same yearning as you that now have made that dream come true. Risks? Of course there are. As had been said many times, most peoples biggest regrets are the things they did NOT do. Offer a quality...

    Is this a good deal?

Might be a OK deal for the whole dealership and inventory , LOL. $2,790,000 But I suspect 2.8 million is still overpriced. 😂 Kidding aside Cranblue more than likely has it right, a misprint and the price of the tractor is $27,900.00 I priced a Kioti CK2610 new in late 2019 , loader with...

    Treadle Pedal reverse

I use a wheelchair full time and that is part of the contraption I built to get up and into the tractor seat. I call it a seat lift, also the reason I made the hand controls for the HST and clutch.

    Treadle Pedal reverse

I appreciate you asking but I do not. I was able to fabricate these levers for my tractors but I find there are a lot of variables , not only in tractors but operators! :)

    Treadle Pedal reverse

I have a hand lever extension on both my L2501 and B7100. In this picture you can see the lever and the funky bend I needed to give me full travel forward and reverse and still not be in the way. I have a fair amount of other folks that drive my tractors and its amazing even with fully...

    Winter wear/ Insulated gear

Base layers are very important. Merino wool for example. Cotton does not wick perspiration away from your body and will keep you feeling cold.

    Do you drive fast?

I was fortunate to have had the presence of mind to follow Yooper's advice when I was in my late teens. I had a love of off roading and 4 wheel drives and got involved in Off Road racing in the midwest. 48 years later , only 1 speeding ticket, no loss of license and cheap insurance! :) I...

    B2660 snowblower fit a B2150 tractor?

I am pretty sure that the B748B snow blower is set up to use the front of engine power take off, which requires a clutch assembly. I think these blowers where used on the "old style" B7100 with no mid pto.

    L2501 Synchronized Gears?

Figured I would muddy the waters, LOL. Found this from a Kubota dealers website. L2501F. Not sure if Neal's tractor has the F designation or not. The features say the F and DT models features a synchro-shuttle transmission.
