    Should I get a Grand L4060HSD or a MX5200HSD

Get the rear remote with the float function, better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it, maybe even 2. As far as the box blade, assuming that you are getting a 72" unit. Try to get something that weighs at a minimum of 750lbs. Here is the unit that I would get for...

    Should I get a Grand L4060HSD or a MX5200HSD

At 32 PTO horse power and using the 5hp per foot of width rule, it should turn a 6 footer no problem. I have never cared for the attachment back hoes, even with the 4 point sub frames. Waaaaaaaay to much money for what you get in my opinion. Nothing really wrong with them other than the...

    Should I get a Grand L4060HSD or a MX5200HSD

Both tractors should have a suspension seat, and I think the same one. That 60" cutter seems small for those tractors. While the MX5200 has more power, not sure that you would ever need it with your place. The HST transmissions are not the same, the L4060 has an HST+ which is much nicer...

BX25 Pat's Quick Change and Top Link

Kubota BX and B model tractors use a 1 9/16 wide ball swivel for the tractor end of the top link. To the best of my knowledge, there is no after market unit that comes with that width ball swivel. All std cat 1 units are 1 3/4" wide. This is mainly a Kubota thing having the narrow end at the...

Need Recommendation - rear blade L3800

Thanks for your response, that is a very fair price for a good implement.

    General question about brands

For the landscape rake, I would go with either a Land Pride LR3684 (lots of $$$$) or an ETA unit as seen here. http://www.allaboutattachments.com/Everything_Attachments_Landscape_Rake_Version_2.html Lots of different types of grapples that are all good. Sort of need to decide what type...

Need Recommendation - rear blade L3800

If you don't mind, what is this setup costing you, did you get the skid shoes?

    General question about brands

If you tell us what implement-implements you are looking at, it is easier to recommend something. You also need to get implements that are matched properly to the size-power of your tractor. Just because it's a name brand doesn't mean that it's the right implement for you. These guys have...

Need Recommendation - rear blade L3800

Either one, they are both good units. Get a 7 footer and be ready to go to work. Definitely get the skid shoes, they make all the difference in the world

Choices L3800 DT or L3901 HST

, now, what implements and attachments do you need? A grapple to make that clean up easier, you will need to get a 3rd function for the loader. Any implements that are going to have hydraulics that need to be controlled, considering a top & tilt set for any of your grading, you will be...

I personally would move up to an L model. That B will get real small real quick.

Landpride fixed Bar Box Scraper (BB1260)

This is EXACTLY what you get when it is said, "you get what you pay for". You don't want problems, you need to pay more and get better stuff. The manufacturer's build different levels of implements to many different price points to serve many needs. Research and experience gets you what you...

    Front loader/ Rear ballest

If you are going to be moving that much dirt, you may want to think about getting a box blade to help level things out. The box blade will act as your counter weight for the loader. ;)

Down Force PostHole digger kit ?

I think that most of the better name implement companies have a down force kit for their 3pt PHD. I have one on my Land Pride PD35. It works very very well. Here is a link to their manual for it. and a few pictures of mine. ;)

    Implements for Road Repair/Maintainance L235

The sides on my 7 foot LPGS are 7 foot long. You will be hard pressed to find any that are that long today. Most are about 5 feet give or take 6". The longer the sides, the flater your surface will be.

    Implements for Road Repair/Maintainance L235

Hands down a box blade is a better multi purpose implement. If the OP can only afford one implement, then a box blade would be the implement to get. My impression was he was mainly concerned with his 1/4 mile long drive. Then the box blade is not the best implement to have. If he gets either a...

    Implements for Road Repair/Maintainance L235

They build most of these implements down to a 4' width. If you need smaller than that, well you may need to go in another direction. ;)

L3200 Purchase -- Which Implements to Get?

Check out these guys for grapples. A little costly, but about the best units built for the compact tractors that so many of us use. You have trails I presume, need at least a box blade to take care of those, and depending on how good you actually want those trails, you may want a land plane...
