    Improved stabilizers

Thanks- I built them out of necessity, first. So, they are practical. Then, I figured that someone else would probably like them as much as me, so I refined them until they would work on the most models (of Kubota), and on others with a few adjustments. Then, I worked up a price that would...

    B7000 post hole driller

A cat I/cat II post hole digger may be too tall for your tractor- do you know someone who has one, so you can try it out? Have you checked with any equipment suppliers, like everythingattachments.com, or the like? I don't know if there is a cat O post hole digger, more suited to the size of your...

    God , Guns and NASCAR

Bcbull378, I am never ashamed to say that I love God, I don't have any guns but would love to get a pistol, and I used to love NASCAR, but I kind of grew out of it- no offense to anyone who does. Mark

    Improved stabilizers

I sell the smaller set, for compact tractors, for $110 plus $11 if they want them shipped, and $130 for the large set, with the same for shipping. They come primed and painted, with hardware.

    Improved stabilizers

Two reasons for me, Skeets. One, if you change your implements very often, meaning a couple times in a day, the turnbuckles take time and a wrench. Second, I have sold these stabilizers to folks who have stripped the threads on their turnbuckles, and the replacements (at least from Kubota) are...

    Improved stabilizers

I have been whittling away at these stabilizers, refining them and selling them here and there. Recently I received a few calls for stabilizers for larger tractors (L3200), so I decided to move up to the next size in steel, and see how they would turn out...

    Tire Chain corrosion

They rust because they are just raw metal- no barrier. If you painted, or powdercoated, or POR-15'd them, it would just wear off with the first use. So, the exposed steel rusts. Surface rust is a lot different than penetrating rust. What you should do is use them, hang them to dry after use (so...

    how much tiller for B7100

My tiller is a 48" King Kutter, with no issues. It handles it fine.

    how much tiller for B7100

I run a 48" on mine, with no ill effects. It has enough power to run it fine, and it lifts it fine. It is light in the front when it's up, but other than that, no issues. If you go with a narrower tiller, you will have to offset it.

    Leaving tonight for Haiti

The team is all home, safe and sound. The trip was smooth and pretty uneventful, considering it was to Haiti. The doctor treated 776 patients in 5 days of clinics. Now, back to the grind.

    Leaving tonight for Haiti

Internet service is available where we are staying, so I figured that I would post. We are all doing well- everyone is healthy and well rested. It has been cool at night (70F), which has made for good sleeping weather. We have had two days of clinic so far, and have seen about 310 patients. We...

    Leaving tonight for Haiti

Eric, I have looked for postcards before- they are as scarce as hens teeth. But, photos will not be a problem! I will post a short report when I get home. Blessings to you all. Mark

    Leaving tonight for Haiti

As the title says, I am leaving this evening for a trip to Haiti. We fly out of Dulles at 6 in the morning. This is a yearly medical trip. There is a doctor on the team, three nurses, a pharmicist, and three grunts. I'm a grunt. We carry heavy things, and count out pills- zillions of them. We...

    Pulling well pump

We pull them down in Haiti with a tripod and a chain hoist- it may move slower, but in the end, it works well. Slow and steady. With a tractor? I don't know- with a crain, you lift straight up. Using a loader, you would have to move the tractor as you lift, to keep a straight lift going. Why not...

    How much oil

Hopefully someone will post an answer for you, but in case they don't, then you can safely estimate by paying attention to how much you drain out of it. Put roughly that much back in, checking the dipstick as you go. Once you get close but not over, start it up so that the filter can fill up...

    B7100HST Front Drive Shaft Boot/Pipe

Is it me, or does it seem like these broken pivot points happen mostly on loader-equipped tractors?

Kubota life expectancy ( hours )

I thought the analog meters ran off the key switch, compiling hours regarless of the rpm's. I don't always run mine at higher rpm's, and it compiles the time- I keep an eye on my hour meter, out of curiosity. I have 702 hours on my B7100, putting about 60 hours or so a year on it. I guess I...

I'm not familiar with the blade; can you move the pins to the inside of the tabs? In other words, unbolt them and turn them around?

    Second "Kubota"?

Eric, it is in good shape. I have done some homework on them, and knew what I was looking at. It has been painted, but not covered up. The engine bay is clean, the engine has no leaks or gunk buildup, the underbelly looks good with no drips or oil stains, the axle ends are clean/no leaks, the...
