Can one rebuild the D750 into a D950 engine?

Id think by the time you bored it out and bought pistons and rings you would have as much in it as just buying a D950. And if you went to the troubles, are you sure the heads are the same or would the 950 have bigger valves?

    MY 1st Tractor Question

I hope everything turns out good Tom. Blaine could use a little orange there! I get there now and then to see family and am amazed at the farms right in the midst of all the big city activity.

    MY 1st Tractor Question

Is that RDO you’re going to in Marshall? If so, that’d tie in with the Proxibid link for Texas. RDO has dealerships there too. Perhaps the markets stronger in MN so they shuttled it up here. Or maybe there’s a story behind it, that makes a local sale difficult down there.

    Warranty Forgiveness

So what you are saying is that Kubota should lengthen their warranty period by 30 days? Do you mean just for you, or for everybody? Then if they do that, and your cable goes 20 days after the extended warranty I suppose they should extend it some more? It seems to me that you entered into an...

    Tractor Advice

Mike, welcome to OTT. Lots of great tractor talk here. My opinion is to always get the biggest tractor you can afford. Although a smaller tractor might be fine for 99% of the time, There will certainly come the time you will need and use that capability of a bigger unit.

    Were you aware?

Well shes certainly not a criminal. Didnt Devine release the real criminals from jail in Ohio? And Im with you sbout hoping people wake up, but its obvious they never will. Not until things affect them personally anyway. Which at some point will happen if they arent members of the club.

    Using PTO in high range?

I think that might work ok. Up here in heavy snow country we used to hook 540 rpm blower gearboxes up to 1000 rpm output shafts and run at low engine rpm with great results. But we used 100 hp tractors or larger so the power wasnt any factor as it might be on your little tractor.

Ray, thank you for adding that video. Its long but well worth watching. Did you know that the author of that video, Millie Weaver, a young mother and journalist, was arrested yesterday with a whole swat team in attendance? I guess anyone who exposes the crap in control risks everything. Its a...

Press is reporting..... (not about tractors or a virus)

Im not sure where you get that wild animals have tough meat, Skip. I eat venison and elk regularly and the meat is as tender and delicious as any beef Ive ever had. Its all in how you prepare it. Most tend to overcook it which is why they dont like it. If they treated their beef the same it...

You might start by checking your hydraulic fluid level and if thats good try changing the hydraulic filter and cleaning any suction screens and changing the fluid out. Hopefully that helps.

    Fuel preference

It would be fine in cold temps, but to get your horsepower you would want to be using straight #2 in temps above 32.
