They would work behind your ZD if you put a hitch on it. I built a hitch that I could swing and pin to either side just to pull a sweeper around. It works fine for that so could surely pull a spreader.

Is it possible to buy KTAC on a used machine? It certainly appears desirable to get it.

Also I do have a D782 in a ZD21 and I think some parts would interchange if it came down to scrapping it for parts.
