New to me BX23S w/ Backhoe

"Bolting teeth"(forks?) to the bucket is generally considered to be a poor solution. It significantly diminishes lifting capacity, and on your very small machine, will essentially limit you to lifting/carrying small bundles of dry feathers.;)

    New, safer gas cans......

The very same folks that brought us those stupid gas cans, now want to ban fossel fuels, and have us all drive electric cars!

That is one mean cock.... A doodle... do

At 5 years old, I could not "punt" much of anything "across the yard with force". That rooster of ours was a big scary MF!

I bought too small. Help me spend my money.

I'll bet that Ford 1210 is a li'l sweetheart. I have it's bigger brother,..... the Ford 1920 FEL. I use it more often than my Kubota L48 TLB. I mow with a SCAG ZT

Any reason I shouldn’t buy a 18′ 14K TA CAM Full Deck Tilt

IMHO that trailering setup would really be better with the hoe bucket sitting on the trailer deck.

Didn't think of that,..... but perhaps you are correct.

Who gives up 1/2 year old hens? They should be rapidly approaching prime egg laying time?

    Wiring, a treat to rodents

My 1996 E-320 ( bought in 1999 ) was a nice driving car, but had several somewhat expensive to fix (private shop) issues over it's 120K miles. I would have kept it forever, but got T-boned 3 years ago. After E-320 wreck, bought a 2014 E-350 (off lease) with 60K, for $15K. Replaced driver seat...

My 2006 L48 is my baby, and I am the proud 82 year old daddy. Bought it 42 months ago with 251 total hours,..... and have added very few (I do have another tractor). I have loader bucket, EA forks, 16" hoe bucket, 24" hoe bucket, 60" grapple, hydraulic thumb, 3rd function, hyd loader bucket...

    3-point issues on L48 TLB

Quoted from L48 TLB WSM page 12-S-10: IMPORTANT: Change the directional change lever (1) to the "Three point hitch position", and the directional change lever (2) to the "Without backhoe" position. If the directional change lever(1) is not at "Three point hitch" position, Three point system...

    How to dig a trench

I have done three direct burial installations for myself (one inspected, two not). All were done with copper cable. One is 40 years old, two are 30 years old. I do not use aluminum wire for electricity....anywhere! If doing the work today, I would probably use conduit.

    Newbie fuel level question

Simple: It is extra work to bleed, and get restarted! Occasionally.... MUCH extra work!

BXPanded Ripper + Quick change adapter

You DID make a mistake! I have the Q/A system on my L48 TLB If I bought a ripper, I would definitely get Q/A, because as you suggest, it will be an on and off attachment. I'll be sure to tell Pat about your mistake when I see him! :ROFLMAO:
