    Refueling Simplification

I fill the 5/6 gallon cans only half full. Simple,.....no extra stuff, .... and works fine at 82 years old. 3 gallons of diesel weighs only 21 lbs. 2-1/2 gal. = 17.5 lbs.

Stump removers, What have you used

A BH mounted root ripper is probably the best (easiest) way, to get stumps/roots out. I am looking to buy one, but it is looking mighty pricey at $1,100+ for my L48 TLB. I don't think I am willing to pay that. Looking for other options.

    Help me decide

For greasing,....buy yourself a DeWalt or Milwaukee, battery powered grease gun, and get a "lock-N-Lube" connector as well. All tractors have a bunch of zerks! There is no tool quite like an 18V grease gun! ............SO EASY to use!

    First time Buyer - B3300SU

You can save the Maine sales tax. by just driving over to NH. I think that tractor is a bit small for your needs. You might try Chappell tractor, or MB tractor, both in NH. I had a very pleasant purchasing experience with Chappell.

Best way to spread top soil

Unfortunately, you are not in the best grass planting window (season) of the year. My suggestion would be to spread your new loam, and grade it,....after it is dry. Then, spread some annual rye grass seed, with a light application of fertilizer, and let it grow. You will get quickly growing...
