8' landscape rake on a 30 HP tractor?

I also have a B2910. What size land plane/leveler would be recommended for this size tractor? I assume 8 foot might be too much, but do not have a clue...

    Different Reactions to ROPS Modifications

Here is a link the thread that was referenced to earlier: https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=46369&d=1576858971 NHsleddog's canopy frame looks like it will resist folding pretty significantly... At least compared to tubular rails held on by two bolts. :)...

BX backhoe trailer hitch & dump trailer

Concern is well founded, but I don't think the OP mentioned what size trailer he is dealing with. Granted pulling and dumping a 10K rated trailer with a BX would not be recommended...but my guess is that the OP is dealing with a much smaller trailer, and should be OK.

RB0560 or Countyline 5 ft blade for BX2380

On my BX2200 I was able to drill a second set of holes in the 3PH lift rod bottoms, about an inch higher, so that I could get a bit more lift. This enabled me to swing my 72" landscape rake back and forth as needed. Before that the rake end would hit the ground and swinging it around was...

    HST Whine.....Gone.......!

philip53, Great to see you got your reward  (in this thread) for taking the time to post something that might be of help/interest to those who are bothered by the HST whine... Wish I was able to hear it! :(

L3301 - Runs like a top then coughs and almost dies... then runs again

Years ago, when my B2910 was very new, I had an experience similar to yours. The tractor would run fine for a while, then nearly die out, then run fine again. I was doing loader work at the time, moving loads of fill that a guy was dumping for me. I got to the point of calling the dealer and...

    NPT threads and Pipe dope

Zero possibility of anything is an elusive goal in reality. But it can be accomplished. Seems like there are two choices, avoid using teflon tape and there IS a zero possibility of it getting into the hydraulic system. OR use teflon tape and the possiblity of it getting in the system is there...

    Different Reactions to ROPS Modifications

In one recent thread, a poster was beaten up a bit because he added foam filling to the inside if his ROPS to deaden harmonic vibration resulting from hydrostatic whine. To the same extent that those who choose to drill a couple small holes in there ROPS are subjected to, if they do so to mount...

    Bucket Level Indicator

Makes sense and I can see how that would be functional. After decades of using levels in carpentry and other work, I guess I took the term _level_ too literally with respect to loader position indicators. I now see the light!

    Bucket Level Indicator

Have to agree. you did a great job building that! But after 17 years of using my loader, I never felt anything more than the flat bar, welded to the top of the loader, would be of any benefit to me. I suppose if things were level here it might be different. But only 1 percent of the time is...

    L175 trans rebuild

Well, he gets an attaboy from me! So often people never report back...who knows, maybe it took him nine years to put the tractor back together!

i think my injection pump on my d950 was made on Wednesday

Can not help with the discussion, but as far as the thread title, I think Wednesday is a good day for something to be manufactured. Monday...workers recovering from the weekend. Friday... Workers thinking about the weekend. Tue...Wed...Thur...Workers at normal productivity levels... :D:D:D

    Performance Module For more horsepower

Point well taken, but the OP could need more HP at the PTO for whatever reason. Perhaps the OP will tell us the reason he feels he needs more HP in his tractor. I am not familiar with his model tractor. I would be concerned that if the drive line were less robust than the larger tractor, that...

    B2710 Completely dead/ no power ... HELP!

Just to eliminate the possibility of a bad, but new, battery, hold the volt meter probes on the battery terminals and watch the battery voltage as someone tries to start the tractor. Do not touch the cable clamps. If voltage drops significantly when trying to start, the battery is the issue...

    BX Rear Wheel Measurement Needed

I never thought of hubcentric wheels as being something related to speed. Just seems like having the wheel held in position against the hub, with a center, would take stress (sheer force) away from the wheel studs, leaving the lug nuts to hold the wheel against the hub, and the wheel center to...

    BX Rear Wheel Measurement Needed

I don't have a good way of making that measurement either, but I was wanting to get that hole diameter on my B2910, and figured what I might to is put a board in the wheel, with the edge over the hole, and wack it with a heavy hammer. Figured that would leave an impression that I could measure...

    BX2230 3 point lift capacity

This ^^^ Does your BX have a loader? I have a loader on my B2910, a 60" box blade, rear blade and 72" landscape rake. When spreading stone I always choose to use the loader to spread the stone by slowly tilting the bucket full of stone, as I am moving forward. Then after getting all the stone...

Pulled a fuse on my B7800 and engine quit running.

No, I specifically remember the B7800 appearing after I bought my B2910, and that it was more of a no frills model, essentially the same tractor but missing the extendable 3PH links, cruise control, and had a simpler seat. Maybe some other things like the tilt steering wheel were down...

    Easy BX HST fan replacement

The only "Fan Guard" on my BX2200 is the MMM, which fortunately for me is on the BX most of the time. No guard whatsoever protecting the HST fan.
