    Bx2380 started on its own

How fast were you going? Maybe the wind spun the fan. It is a diesel. Theoretically all it needs to start on a warm day is something to turn it over. No solenoid, starter, safety switches et. al. required.

    HF Quick Hitch questions...again

The advantage is that Pat's will work with almost any implement. You mentioned having a lot of older stuff, which means the width could be considerably different than today's "QH compatible" dimensions. The QH is a fixed width, Pats retains the ability to adjust the width of the arms. You may or...

    Old B7100 iol dipdsick

Maybe it's not a Kubota dipstick. Who knows what a previous owner may have done. Measure the distance from the top of the stick to the full line. I'll measure mine tomorrow and you can compare.

YES!!!...Just buy that damn thing....One more good reason to buy a back hoe......

And the endless debate rages on... Those that say a BH is a waste of money are probably right -- they shouldn't buy one. Those that frequently say a backhoe would be real handy about now, I should buy one are probably right -- they should buy one. Like DustyRusty pointed out, you can't really...

    B 7001 tires size

    1. If you are calling it a B7001 with a B7100 hood just because the serial number starts "B7001", be advised that is normal for an older B7100, it doesn't mean the hood has been changed. 2. Tire size depends on tire and rim type. Agricultural tires with a traditional "tractor tire" tread use...

Like me tractor is getting old but I can still work the but off and so should it !!!

Ah, that may be the problem. WD40 leaves a residue. Try using contact cleaner. One of the best is Deoxit D5.

Like me tractor is getting old but I can still work the but off and so should it !!!

Ummm, not meaning to be insulting, but what is the key position when you checked the terminal? In the pre-heat or start positions? I believe those are the only two positions where the glow plugs are live. And by " dash mounted pre ignition coil", I assume you mean the glow plug indicator, that...

    B7100D

Over what period of time? If it sinks down in minutes with no load, then yeah, rebuild it. If it sinks down over hours or days while supporting an implement then a rebuild may not help -- some seepage is normal and even a brand new one often sinks over days under load.

BX as a Bead Breaker (for tires)

I have found it helps to squirt a little dishsoap/water or other lubricant into the small gaps as one works one's way around the rim with a stubborn tire. Every little bit helps!

    Operating BX's FEL on pavement?

I take it the rise is the cause for concern, having read many times to use 4wd when operating on hills because the front wheels don't have brakes? While it is true that the braking power of the rear axle is shared with the front axle in 4wd, it's really only an issue if the rear wheels are...

    B7100-HST hydraulic confusion

No need to buy one from me if you are set up to make your own! I am just a hobbyist and provide these at my cost to those in the community that don't have the capability of making their own. It's not a business and I don't lose any money by sharing my "secrets" with anyone else. Not that they...

Aux Hydraulics not working B7100 HST

Actually, if he needs one in the original B7100 format (2 tapped holes on the face ) rather than the universal (4 unused holes with plugs) ASAP, I could whip one out Monday when I get home again. I have the blocks all cut and milled to size; I just have to finish drilling and tapping all the holes.

What will happen if I put these tire sizes on my B8200?

Mowing with what? If you have a mid-mount mower, the reduced clearance underneath the tractor may be an issue. As long as you leave it in 2wd, the ratio does not really matter. It's only when you try to engage both axles that the driveline tries to tear itself (and/or the lawn) apart.
