Perhaps you could looks at the parts manuals for the loaders, if available somewhere like Messicks, and see if bucket part numbers are the same for the buckets on both loaders.

2 cubic feet of concrete does not sound like much weight. I assume you meant a 2 foot cube? That would be 8 cubic feet...

Is this the area you were referring to? I am guessing you meant a different spot now... where the front assembly attaches to the frame. Cannot picture what it looks like in my mind now, but will be obvious when there. Will take a picture later when I can get back to the tractor...something else...

I think I measured the same edge as you did, from the back up to the point where the vertical piece is welded on. Mine is 31.25". I will post a couple pictures from my phone soon for your reference...

I will also measure the length of that piece that looks like it is too short. If there are any other measurements that you need, that do not require me to lay down on the cold ground, I will get them for you as well. Please post what you need specifically, if anything else besides that one piece.

I have that LA402 loader on my b2910, same tractor as yours except for the engine. Can't get a picture now but will try later in the afternoon...

I thought it was nose hairs that did the filtering. But I suppose lungs do filter as well, just ask a coal miner with black lung disease... :eek:

I don't think it is folklore. Read reports of hose failure for this reason over the years. Makes sense if you reduce diameter you increase velocity of flow through a smaller opening. Of course, the restriction also causes some decrease in flow. Not sure of the relationship. Restrictors likely...

It really depends on the circumstances I think. Loader does not work for me as a plow because I have a lot of compound curves and it wants to dig in at one corner or the other. Flat parking lot...maybe fine. I use gage wheels on the rear blade and have two tilt cylinders, one which has a float...

That would concern me and be a reason to drain what is in there and replace it with a known oil. Not sure today, but it used to be that front axles were filled with the same fluid that was in the tractor itself, for the hydraulics and HST. I think it was SUDT, if I remember right. If he dumped...
