    bx2200 starter click-click issues

The relay used in the John Deere kit is somewhat unusual, and will pick up with as little as something like 7 volts, and will stay closed down to about 4 volts. I measured it but do not remember the exact numbers. Posted them in a thread somewhere, probably at TBN. But since the current draw of...

    I traded my bx23s for a b2301

My limited experience is that it is important to have a bucket equal to or slightly wider than the width of the rear tires. More than that can be a negative, unless you need to move more material with each bucket load. Best second thing I did was get a tooth bar. Mine is a heavy duty one...I...

    I traded my bx23s for a b2301

I assume you mean traded in the BX23S on the new tractor and not an even trade... With one acre I probably would have been happy with the BX...but cannot argue with your logic. I bought a B2910 when I had an acre and a half. But now have 8 acres. And a BX2200 for mowing and other duties. Get...

    BX2230 Owner Manual

PS...Under $20 is not too much to spend if you get a tractor for Free...:D

    BX2230 Owner Manual

I have a BX2200, close to the same vintage I suppose. The MMM moves with the 3PH. Just the way it works. But if you raise the MMM to the top, and put the height position knob in the top position, then the deck will stay at the top position, and the 3PH arms will work the same as if the deck is...

Cutting edge for Kubota B2601 with 54 inch bucket

Your question is pretty specific regarding looking for a bolt on cutting edge. But have you considered a tooth bar? Perhaps you do not want the teeth, and if so then a tooth bar would not be of interest. I have a tooth bar that I would would never want to be without. It is on the bucket most of...

    bx2200 starter click-click issues

Many have solved this issue with respect to getting the starter turning by using a relay between the safety circuit and the starter. Maybe not your issue since you mention low voltage on the glow plugs. I was having the click, click no-start issue for a year or more, and after installing the...

Here's why you wear a seat belt with ROPS system

The fallacy in your thinking is assuming you will be able to always assess that what you are doing should be done differently, or not at all. With your experience you should realize this, in my opinion anyway, which is not worth much (referring to my opinion, not your experience).

    Hydraulic pressure adjustment

So in the end, polishing the spools really had nothing to do with the repair, as all that could have done was increase the clearance and therefore the leakage. So the solution was new O rings. Glad you got it fixed. By the way, your reply to Whitetiger was not very nice...he is very...

LA402 SSQA conversion and EA grapple

I have the same tractor/loader as you. What do you do to put the original bucket back on? Do you have to remove the SSQA? Sorry if the answer is obvious, but I do not see it...

    Source to purchase used implements

I think there is also opportunity to find things on facebook marketplace, or something like that. I do not have experience with facebook (turns me off for some reason), but have heard this somewhere. You might try that in addition to Craig's list.

Enjoyed the L2501 HST with R4s on snow first time with bucket.

With my B2910, which is a smaller tractor with less weight, I don't think I could get by with less than a 72" blade, which when angled, barely extends beyond the rear tires. I would think the 84" blade would be a good fit for the L2501. A 72" blade with an offset capability might work well...

Here's why you wear a seat belt with ROPS system

I would be curious to know how many people who have actually tipped or rolled a tractor over, still hold the opinion that wearing or not wearing a seat belt makes (or doesn't make) sense, one way or the other. Personally I don't wear my seat belt 100 percent of the time, but I do believe that...

Here's why you wear a seat belt with ROPS system

Good summary. I fall in the 1 in 10 category. It was a VERY slow tip over, but it did happen. About 3 seconds start to finish. No way I could personally dispute anything you have written here...Other's may, but not me!

    B2710 right rear wheel seal?

I have a B2910, so same tractor as yours, with a slightly more powerful engine. I tried looking at the WSM and Parts Manual, and had no luck finding the specific seal you are referring to. A picture might help getting you an answer from someone. I would guess if putting that seal back in place...

    Hydraulic pressure adjustment

Well, Whitetiger explained why the $850 would would buy more than just the spool. Since you do not want to spend that money, perhaps you can replace the assembly with an aftermarket unit. Maybe you can find something cheaper at surpluscenter.com, or elsewhere.

    Hydraulic pressure adjustment

Are you sure that is not the price for the complete valve section (still high) or even for the loader valve assembly in its entirety? Hard to imagine that would be the price for one piece of one of the valve sections. But what do I know?
