    L2501 losing power

Remove the lines from the fuel pump. Plug the line coming from the tank so you don't lose fuel. Put your finger over the inlet side of the fuel pump. Crank the engine. Fuel pump should create a vacuum and hold. If it does not the fuel pump is bad. I have replaced a lot of fuel pumps on these...

    B6100D Parts Questions(s)

That is a collector's item. I don't think many of those survived. That was part of the original toolkit. It was made out of hardwood. I'm sure it was made out of the same type of wood that your tractor was crated in when it was brought here to the United States.

Advice from experts on M4500DT : Rebuild or DIY or Sell

Yes. Remove the three bolts with 10 mm heads on top of the bigger pump of the two. If you follow the line you're removing it wraps around the back of the pump and goes to the suction filter. The lower line is the pressure line. Once you have the line removed dump some oil into the pump. What I...

Advice from experts on M4500DT : Rebuild or DIY or Sell

Your hydraulic pump has lost its prime. Remove the suction line from the top of the pump and dump some hydraulic oil in the pump. It should pick up the oil and start pumping. Your tractor has two pumps. It will be the front pump on the right side of the engine. The line you remove is the one...

    L345DT hydraulic problems

That is odd if they are failing at the same time. The power steering pumps on these units seem to last forever. They don't get any contamination in them from the powertrain. I have replaced lots of the main pumps but very seldom a power steering pump.

    L345DT hydraulic problems

As Dan said you have all the signs of a wore out hydraulic pump. Fluid gets hot and it doesn't pump. Your tractor has a dual pump setup. One pump for the power steering one pump for the tractor hydraulics. You have a separate Reservoir for the power steering which is on top of the engine. I...

    L175 transmission issues

If it has been for sale a long time chances are someone has checked it out all ready. It would be very easy to pull the shift cover off and have a peek inside and see what's going on. Would take 5 minutes. Drain a couple gallons of oil out of it and you would know exactly what's going on. Only...

    Non Kubota generator.

Yes the company I maintain these for is now scrubbing the methane and selling it back to the utility company as natural gas. They're going that direction now instead of powering generators. In central California they have a hub where they're piping the methane from multiple locations to a plant...

    Non Kubota generator.

Great question. I can't answer that question. I maintain them for company that develops and operate these all over the country. They don't run 24 hours a day. Typically 12 to 15 hours a day 6 days a week. Methane production varies with the temperature. As far as payback there's a lot of other...

    Non Kubota generator.

Not Kubota. This was my project today. I have three of these that I take care of. They run on methane produced from manure at the dairies. The power produced is sold back to the utility company. This particular one is a German built Man V 12 running a 600 KW generator. Did motor oil and filters...
