L30mm or 1 3/16 either one works. 6 point preferred and I usually machine the recess off of the socket so it'll grab the rounded blade bolts.

LThe blade bolts are special, they are not your "normal" hex bolt. The head is much bigger. As far as I remember it was 30mm on my deck...
