What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Personally, I'd do sunflowers. There's a place near us that plants quite a few acres and has it set up as a business so people can wander in the fields,take pictures, has food vendors,etc. They let people cut the heads and charge $1 each flower. They have multiple different colored varieties( place is called Sunflowers of Sanborn)....

Thanks. I'll reach out to them and see if they're willing to give me some advice on ways to successfully do that. The planting and growing part that is, not the commercialization.

I used the M6060 and EA Wicked 60 this morning to lift the "new" disc harrow off the trailer. I wasn't sure how well this would go but it couldn't have gone any better. The 600lb or more of wheel weights plus ballast in the tires made the lift easy and balanced. I didn't even need to adjust the chain for the pick so guess I'd rather be lucky than good. The harrow has to be 1000lb or more. The guy I bought it from loaded it onto the trailer with a much bigger piece of equipment. Not sure how well the MX6000 would have handled this.

I'm digging Creep range on the transmission. It was perfect for this task where slow and steady were the order of the day.

I'm definitely going to order one more wheel weight per side though. I should have gone with the three per side when I ordered the ones shown but I was an idiot.

This M6060 is everything I could have hoped for and then some. After spending 16+ hours in the MX last weekend cutting fields for a friend it sure is nice to jump back in the M. There's no doubt in my mind that if I ever have to give up one tractor it'll be the MX. The MX is a great tractor, no doubt, but it's just not the beast that the M is.

Finished moving my cull logs down closer to the house. Took me another hour today to finish. I had fun with the long one that is in the front. I should have cut it in half, but I thought to myself,"You can make it".

Started prepping my overkill wheeled pallets for my BB and Bucket/Forks from ground contact PT lumber. They will be 60"x24" and made with 2x6s and 4x4s. I still need to pickup galvanized screws and 4" locking swivel casters but they should get knocked out quickly.

I'm going to add small shackles to each side so I can ratchet strap the implements to the pallet for transport in the truck bed or on a trailer and so my son doesn't have an accident with them accidentally coming off the cart. Casters will also be full-lock for the same reason. Pallets are way overbuilt for the same reason as well.

Built my overkill pallets. Just need to order casters. These things are HEAVY. In hindsight, I could have gone with 1x6 for the top but it's ok. I am missing three 3" deck screws on the middle planks, package count was just shy of what I needed.

Any suggestions on casters? The ones at HF were junk. I was looking at these but they are on the pricey side.

I buy casters from the local Norco welding shop. They work great on the two steel carts I made for the Kubota generator and Jon Dow fuel tank.

Thanks, what size/spec? What is the generator weight? My max load currently including pallet will be roughly 700-900lbs. For now I plan on setting the BB on there and the bucket when not in use and one of the two pallets will store the forks as well.

I would get casters with cast iron wheels, as the plastic wheels invariably get flat spots making them a pain to move.

For what they will be doing, I think the 2x6 was the wise choice. They look well made.

Thanks, just ordered these based on your advice and @mcmxi these are cast with poly tread with ball bearings. 4 locking, 4 regular swivel.
