Yep, just topped off my Land Cruiser and filled 4 five gallons cans for my mower. $175.00Ya know there is something inherently wrong, when it costs the better part of a 50 dollar bill to fill the bike
Yep.Power companies don’t want coal anymore. Old plants are closing and no new ones being built. Natural gas is both cleaner, and cheaper to operate the power plants.
This frustrates me too, there is a way to fix it. Talk to the local station you use regularly and ask them what fleet card they prefer to take. I got a fleet card, now I can run the pump up to the $275 to fill without interruptionGas stations are gonna start requiring people to pay inside pretty soon. Saw it in Florida back when gas and diesel skyrocketed the last time.
With there pumps set to shut off at $xxx people swipe there cards a second time and fill up.
If they hit the purchase limit a second time, that second charge gets flagged as a "double bill" by the credit card and fuel card companies. Then it's up to the stations to prove that you purchased that second amount of fuel.
I was having to swipe my fuel card 3 times to get a full tank of diesel depending on the station. So I would have two $75.00 charges plus an odd amount on the third swipe.
Pretty soon they either quit accepting that fleet card or you were forced to go inside and prepay.
Local truck stop is $200/swipe with the wright's express fuel card. Not normally an issue with the service truck. This frustrates me too, there is a way to fix it. Here is an article from a left leaning source that was in my Google feed. It says lots about why global prices are high, but that wasn't the main point of the article.

Sadly, I worry that the status quo now will be the status quo after election. I've lost faith in the electoral system. Not so much the way it works, more so that a lot more uninformed voters are the ones showing up, and have no clue thatGood Times, for sure Just over a hundred days to the mid's, I hope we normal folks can hang on to make a statement.
You mean the ones that laid off THOUSANDS of people that were actually qualified to run/maintain them? You surely don't mean the ones that are nothing but concrete slabs where a power plant used to be.Depending on how the ruling goes tomorrow, you may see some of our plants coming back online.
Yes, there is, like politicians that are allowed to invest in energy markets. There's never been a plainer conflict of interest.Ya know there is something inherently wrong, when it costs the better part of a 50 dollar bill to fill the bike

'reproductive justice, climate crisis, far-right violence', all rolled into one. Just wow.
Left leaning? I'd say they've fallen over.
