Just got back from a trip across the country, and the highest gas prices we paid were in Arizona, by far.

Last fillup was at Costco on September 30. Price was $3.119. Most other gas was around $4.50 in the area.

All the major gas stations around here are creeping towards the $3 mark. I just don't understand why diesel is staying around $5

July the eight fossil fuel giants raked in $52 billion in record second-quarter profits, a 235% increase over the previous year.
Earlier this year, the advocacy group Public Citizen accused Big Oil of intentionally inflicting "pain at the pump" in order to boost profits at consumers' literal expense.
It’s a joke really. How companies/governments are using Ukraine as an excuse to inflate prices.

The OPEC+ alliance of oil-exporting countries decided Wednesday to sharply cut production to support sagging oil prices, a move that could deal the struggling global economy another blow and raise politically sensitive pump prices for U.S. drivers just ahead of key national elections.

I'm sure with some little effort we can find a way to blame Biden for this.

You are correct, with little effort.

Shame his policy of not supporting US energy independence has made us reliant on others once again.

See very little effort at all.
