I shop at Giant Eagle for everything and use fuel perks. Wok on both fuels. Got buy groceries anyway. had 1.50 off last week. limit of 30 gallons though. New Meijer store opening soon, going to split my shopping. I doubt Ohio will ever do a tax Holiday. They even penalize Hybrids and Electric cars at the BMV so they get their tax we all pay at the pump.
My point was more to the fact the tax will be collected. I agree on the fairness, just they will never relinquish collecting that tax to used to spending it. Just like I would bet the farm IF we ever went with Electric as majority of cars they will create new ways to make it as costly or more than what we do using gasoline.
Never happen here, everything goes into the general fund only to be pissed away on things like a bus line to nowhere that nobody but homeless ride... for free.
Hey ol ned suspended the gas tax for 2 months, what a guy, eh? Too bad he didn’t do it for diesel fuel as well....
I was in Cleveland today, about 1 hour away. Took note on my way there of fuel prices. Around me Gas is $4.00 Diesel 5.00 The more north I went I saw signs at the same gas station chain for $3.50 for gas and $4.50 for diesel. No tax suspension here, just a little gouging out in the rural areas.
Lucky to still have the catalytic converters on it. Around here the church vans have been getting hit for converter theft.
