With this cold spell taking in most of the country what is the temp where you are?
Here in central Maine it is 14 degrees.

It's warming up now it's -30C (-20F) with a wind chill of -38C (about -40F) We're in southern Manitoba about 60 miles north of the border.

Jut looked at the outside thermometer and it's shivering....

-18 here with a -45 wind chill and no, I'm not even going near any tractor today. Bad enough getting in the buggy to go shopping.

Took the dog for a walk. He lasted about 1/8 mile are turned around for the house. Had frost on his muzzle when we got home.

Not a good day to be outside, especially an old fart like me and my old fart dog.

My wife and I are both originally from Illinois, we’ve also lived in Wisconsin about 45 miles south of Green Bay. Know what y’all are dealing with and that’s why I’m here lol. But what we find funny here is Monday night there was a chance of snow here. Just a chance lol and it would maybe be a dusting. They closed the schools down the day before just in case it did. I was in New Orleans for training this week and they closed some schools there because of the “cold”. Lows were like 29

Yeah no kidding, I wish I had a wood burner again. My furnace has been working triple time to heat this 104yr old house.
Maybe when we re-model, i'll put one or two in, to supplement the LP useage.
