Quite brisk today. Temperature reached 68 degrees :eek: We've been spoiled so far this winter. Other then the amount of rain we've been getting it's been quite mild. Rains finally let up and have had very little the past couple weeks. Yard still feels like your walking on a sponge though.

We are just getting winter this weekend for the first time this season. Minus 12 celsius, but very little snow - just lots of bone chilling wind.

Another -12C day here again. Stayed consistent overnight and today. The winds are brutal. Had two loads of dirt delivered today, and it took a long time for the tractor to warm up to push them around. I need to retrofit a block heater or something on my L245dt.

We’ve had quite a swing...-14F Friday morning and 63 this afternoon....77 degrees in 3 days.

Good thing with the warm-up was today I leased the new wood lot next door for the upcoming Maple season! Warm weather got them thinking syrup.

Been alternating like that here some. At least it was last week. Hear the bugs out for a day or so. Then the temps drop into the 20's. Hear the bugs again for a day or so, then freeze. Been walking the dog the past few nights before bed in a light shirt.

Yup. 65 here right now. This time tomorrow probably 25. Might see a Tornado or two but I hope not. These nice evenings allow me to get a ton of work done in the shop. And the gas bill doesn't creep up as much as "usual", both of which I'm quite thankful for. Being out in the shop, I am hearing the spring peepers and some of the early frogs out in the ditch. The cat showed up earlier making a bunch of racket, so I climbed out from under the car and found her standing there holding up her paw, with a crawdad latched onto her little toe, and it would NOT turn loose! Had to use pliers to get it to let go which resulted in the loss of a pincer. For the animal rights activists, they grow back. For the rest of us, she done ate the remainder of said crawdad. Crunchy!

Dog was having fun chasing the peepers on the edge of the ditch last night during her walk. Heard them out tonight but didn't see any. I bet they were pretty confused though. It was 72 according to the thermometer in the truck at 6am. Below freezing tonight

Freezing rain warning for here today than rain. Still no snow on the ground. I guess I'll have to start up the tractor today and take it for a run out the road just to let it know it's still loved.

4 last night , high today 19.

Neighbor had 3 calves born the night before last. How those critters make it through this cold at birth is amazing.

It is chilly here, a few degrees below freezing, clouded over now and maybe a dusting of snow coming. Not too bad at all.

Good gosh it may be the end for us...
It is 35 F and some odd white stuff is falling from the sky and accumulating on the roof!

In Austin Texas this is BAD.
