The Missus is away this weekend....how will I feed myself?!?!

"Fun Food Saturday" is pizza.... 2 large with sausage, peppers. I didn't have to wait for Uber Eats, or whatever that's called...(local Pizzeria does deliver here now...first time in my life I can get delivery)

Sunday dinner is Goulash. Not Hungarian style, but American "peasant" style I know well. Mom could feed a family of 5 on a little bit of ground beef, elbows, and tomatoes we canned each fall. Love the stuff still, but with some mods to make it taste better.

Sunday supper is P-squared...pork and peas...little fired roasted peppers on the side...

Put a 7lb chuck roast in the smoker this morning. Had salad, asparagus, and zucchini with pulled beef for dinner tonight.

First attempt at pork belly burnt ends. Turned out very tender. This was 1/2 of a whole pork belly.

I use to enjoy cooking and smoking stuff,, now that it is just me, one chicken is to much, though I do enjoy smoking a nice brisket, but it never tastes as good one you pop it inthe freezer cause ya cant eat it all

Homemade chicken tenders, pasta and tossed salads plus some deviled eggs for good measure...

Did some tenders in the air fryer (one pictured). Did others shallow fried in olive oil.

Twice baked taters, various meats, and salads. Twas a nice family get-together.

Yesterday was curried and grilled beef cubes, grilled veggies, rice, and sautéed mushrooms.

The beef grew up a couple miles from here....good stuff. A sirloin tip roast was on top in the freezer. Not my first choice, but was very good/tender done rare.
