I was cleaning up some of the pole wood that I have left over the last year. Takes some practice picking it up with the grapple. Then main thing I have found (Thanks to GP Outdoors) is to put the loader in float when closing the grapple at the same time you curl.

Some of it was a little small to mess with, but I had it in the grapple, so I went ahead and cut it up.

Got a link to GP that shows what you're talking about? Never thought about floating the grapple.

I have had some not so great experiences with them. The sticky connection to the tractor is fine but the problem has been the other side of the foam pad that connects to the plastic plate. Some of them have just separated leaving the pads on the tractor. . .
So right after I shot these pics I ran a coat of silicone rubber all around the edges and over the top of the plastic base.
I had the same issue with the wires for the lights on my rops. Just for the hell of it I grabbed the hot glue gun and stuck that between the VHB (3m double stick foam tape) and the plastic square. I think it did a satisfactory job of melting the foam AND adhering to the plastic pretty well. None of them have come off again, yet. *YET*

Today Jan 2, 2023. I removed the shear bolts on the blower auger. greased and turnd the auger to make sure it is lubed well and reinstall shear bolts. Adjusted the blower chain and lubed it up. Cleaned the blower and waxed it. Ready for more snow. Oh also waxed the chute.

Remember that table saw that I took out of the pole barn and put in the basement? Yeah... We're done with it now and I want my furnace room back.
Also brought in the garbage can from the end of the driveway.

I was putting off removing the 100lb propane tank from the back of my truck when it dawned on me, "Hey, I have a tractor!"
Again, I can get the thing out of my truck without too much hassle. By why *should* I when I have a tractor that I was already driving around on?

Debris cleanup after the New Year’s Eve Wilton flood. Can’t get to the burn piles, they’re under the new lake. Nice day after such a destructive event. Best wishes to our neighbors who have it much worse.

Got 3 hubcaps for $6, added a couple of -442 orings and a small tube of RTV and have front hubcaps. I like the hubcap look. Also added a plug for charging the battery and put a fender washer on the knob holding the screen as the screen was not tight to the frame.

Where did you get the plug assembly for the charging? Got a part number? Also, did you wire it directly to the battery terminals, or through a fuse? I'd like to put a charge port on my BX2380.

A little logging and a little trail work today. While I had the bucket on it pulled the log onto the road and over to the side then cut to 3 pieces for the grapple (later on).

Spent some time working on trails and leveling them out, but it's a bit time consuming with how many rocks/bounders I keep hitting. Jobs like this make me wish I went with an L Series!

I'm sure you all are getting tired of my firewood pictures, but here is another one. This is two of the logs that I bucked up and split today. It's a little muddy around our place, but it has been worst.

Hope everyone has a great New Year and made it home safe last night.

Got it on Amazon. It has 10 gauge wires. Hooked it up direct to the battery. The leads were plenty long. Threw the bag away so no part number.

I never get tired of seeing folks working on firewood. Its interesting to see how folks do different things to increase efficiency. Plus it's always a good reminder for me to get my butt out there and keep plugging away at the firewood stacks!

Not a darn thing. They sit patiently in the barn. Went from -9 and a dusting of snow to 58 and monsoon rain. Not enough snow to plow and too muddy to go cut firewood. On the plus side I still have 100 gal of diesel in my storage tank

the plastic kubota toolbox finally gave up the ghost. replaced with a 30 cal ammo can for a whopping $21 on amazon. I can't believe that Kubota wanted $87 for a replacement.

I know...bfd.
