Well today is an extremely sad and depressing day. I had to put the plow on the tractor. I cried, had to call my therapist about the whole thing.

I need all the support guys. I appreciate it so much during this depressing time.

Joking aside, earlier this week I started a new job that pays pretty well. I ain't gonna have the same amount of time as I did for tractor stuff. But the benefits outweighs the negatives, especially financially. Just more funds for attachments!
Who's joking? I feel your pain. I am dreading installing the front snowblower as it is an onerous PIA and takes me hours to get the subframe and hoses set up correctly. It also means that I won't have a loader to use until spring. Time for a second tractor? I doubt the "war department" would buy that argument.

Nerwin, I am sending a box of tissues across the river to you to help dry your tears. Steady on my man.

Yes! I'm sorry to see that you've been bitten by the mini "bug". I can say that I hardly have the backhoe on the back of the tractor since getting the mini. There were only a handful of jobs where I preferred to use the backhoe for one reason or another and I find that it tests my patience waiting for it to cycle. However, it still beats a shovel any day of the week.
I had the mini before the tractor. It is so versatile and used heavily as I develop our retirement farm. Would not want to be without it.

Now, I have all winter to figure out how to convince the missus that a mini is a "must" not a "want." I mean, I really, really want a mini. I must need it, right?
I feel your pain! 😂

I look at used mini excavators daily and keep telling myself "don't do it!" The problem will only get worse when I've paid off the two tractors so I still have a year to talk some sense into myself! I think that many of us are able to justify a tractor to ourselves or our significant others, but an excavator is a much harder sell. Tractors are a jack-of-all-trades piece of equipment that can do so many things well enough. A mini is exceptional at one or two tasks but absolutely useless for so many others.

What are you guys talking about?! 😂 I'm getting the MX set up in its winter clothes today i.e. flail off, bucket off, blower on and front hydraulic blade on. Moving snow all winter long is one of the things I really enjoy about this time of year. Sitting in the toasty cab, sun coming through the windows, music playing, instant job satisfaction etc., ..... what's not to love! 😊

I could have bought a mini rather than the M6060, but two tractors is a better fit for me than a tractor and a mini. That said, two tractors and a mini is definitely next level stuff and something that's been a goal for a few years now.

Snowblower and rear blade put on today. Figured I would put it on before the floor got too cold.
I also enjoy the warm cab while playing in the snow.

Took the B1700 and mowed around the fire pit now that the pile is burnt, brot up a couple bucket of wood with the B3200 and hooked up the brush hog and did a couple hrs of cutting. Probably 3 to go

Congrats on the new job, or condolences as the case may be. I remember my conundrum when I bought my LX. Do I get up and go to work or do I just play with the tractor. Decisions, decisions.
Seriously, I hope you enjoy your new job as much as I did my career before big company mentality killed the joy and sold me off like used farm equipment. It didn’t take long for me to hate my new employer and decide to retire (after I collected nearly 3 years of disability from them). I blew out both rotator cuffs in 2019 and the combined recovery was 14 months. They put me on disability and I milked it for all it was worth (60% salary tax free) until I hit full retirement age. I paid for that insurance for 43 years so had ZERO guilt about taking it back.

On a lighter note, I got my maturity notice from Kubota Finance last week. My last payment was scheduled for today. That should make saving for doo-dads and gizwidgets easier. The LX is ALL mine now.
