A series of small jobs to get in before tomorrow’s anticipated rain/snow. The road has been getting to look a bit ragged as the gravel migrated out of the wheel tracks.
Switched the float remote to the sidelink and on with the backblade to pull the gravel back to center. Being able to float the sidelink made the job faster and easier than it was pre-top/tilt.
Maybe not perfect but much better. Hope to get at least a couple more years out of it before we have to add more rock.
Then on to being the most expensive wheel barrow I’ve ever owned. Despite leaf removal in the fall, leaves always gather at the basement door. I was there, the bucket was there, a rake was there: the leaves left in the bucket.
Most of my implements are on dollies in the heated shop. These two hang out together in the shed. Done with the backblade so it’s back with its buddy, the rotary cutter.
Then back to the heated shop to pick up the chipper to clean up a little brush pile by the bees created by one of our winter storms a few weeks ago. We got the tree taken care of but deferred the chipping in favor of more pleasant weather. 60 degrees and sunny today definitely qualified for more pleasant.
