What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

so I didn't do much took this 6x6 round bale up to cows and the water the chickens and ducks clean out the barn and got all the coon dogs pen cleaned all on the 7100

no baler yet I work all summer for a guy and he gives me hay instead a payment is fair he gets help I get hay anyways the twine broke on me as I hook on front of bucket im going to make forks or bale spear for bucket

Nothing with the B7100, but I have been putting the Kubota-powered Bobcat skidsteer to work. I have been tearing down an old house addition, and using the skidsteer with forks to move debris to a large burn pile.

I have had the 5x5 to 6x6 bale on the 7100 and it will lift those up but in only lifting like 8 in off ground until I have to lift it up over a hay feeder if she can lift it ill do it if she cant I try to find another idea to make it work 9 out of 10 she does what I need her to do

tightened the front chains on the L3800 and moved a few items today, and cleaned out a drainage ditch. The weather is like spring here in Idaho. Lots of mud and no snow.

Either that's the strongest 7100 on the planet or those bales are light as feathers. My 7100 wouldn't even handle 4x5's, my L3000 just barely does. I tried it on 5 x 3 rolls and it wouldn't handle them and 5 x 6 is a joke. A 6x6 would give mine a heart attach.

You are exactly correct. Lumpy piles resulting from the uneven dump resulted in lumpy passes. There is no way to really kill these off either 3pt and floating or in 2pt because the scraper floats over the terrain evenly taking an inch off each pass. I found going backward in float after adjusting the rear blade to be only 1/4 inch off the ground under way really helped take out the majority of it. Backing with the scraper locked in position will take it out but you need fine 3pt control to keep it from digging in.

What I am going to do is make FWD passes on the high points with the scraper blades set to just shave off a little each time. The problem this week is my 3pt valve is one of the defective ones that don't move...don't move...then JERK to the next position, so micro management of the blade height is tough. That should be fixed this week as it's one of the items on my dealer repair list.

I am definitely going for the extended warranty. Full factory bumper to bumper 2-year with another year power train for $1300. One major part failure and its paid for. That pushes my drive train out to six years. Ya hope you won't need it but if you do....!!!

I've learned to finesse the lumpy parts with the heel of my FEL (tooth bar prevents using the front) by back dragging. It is possible to make finer adjustments with the joystick than the position control lever on my tractor. Controlling the curl gives you pretty precise positioning on a back drag.

Didn't really do any repairs, but was a nice day here and got the L3200 out to stretch and went for a little ride up the road. Now we're looking at temps falling back down into the 20's here in SW Michigan. Back to reality.

I have not got my new L4600/LA764 yet but I did get to go visit it at the dealer and they had just finished adding the 80% rim guard to the rears and the service tech was going over everything and detailing it for Monday or Tuesday delivery.

Fired her up today to charge the battery, hooked up the blade in preparation for some funk we're supposed to get. So far they've been saying freezing rain and sleet, or possibly snow. They haven't been able to make up there mind.
