Mowed about 90% of my 2 acres under a dark cloud.. then it started to poor! On the way back to the shop to take cover lightning stuck what sounded like a few hundred feet away.. about had to change my shorts!

I had the loader off so I waited it out in the shop cleaning up for about 45 min then put the loader on and mowed the last 2 passes..

To wet to put the mower back in its spot so I left it hooked up..

No, but it seems whenever I mow or make plans to mow, the sky opens up!! I guess we’re of like minds, nice bench of yours. I threw one together this spring along with a “log planter” from a large white pine I dropped. Semper-fi & This We’ll Defend, Mike

I like your bench better.. if I could find a log that big I'd make one like it.. they don't seem to get more than 16 inches around here.. hurricanes seem to knock them over or they rot before they get that big

My snow pusher was delivered today. It's a HLA1500 60". Looks like a well built piece and as much as I'd like to put it to work I hope the snow doesn't come too soon

I replaced the drive shaft that drives the front axle on my BX. Ever since I have had it, when you put it in 4 wheel drive it vibrates like you are running over a rumble strip. When I checked all the drivetrain for the front axle, the splined shaft that goes from the mid-ship bearing forward was loose in the slip yoke and in the yoke on the u-joint at the front axle. The yoke on that u-joint that drives the input shaft of the differential was sloppy too. I ordered the u-joint assembly and the shaft from Messicks in PA. They came yesterday and I installed them this afternoon. Everything is a snug fit now, and when I gave it a test drive in 4wd, there was no rumble or vibration at all. Fixed!

2-sheds and a garage stuff is everywhere.
Wife said we need to build a building so tractor and attachments are in the same building :)
Act now! Limited time offer!👍 Seriously though, any idea on how big of a building you would put up?

Should have done it last year. Wait until you price construction lumber Better tap into your 401 to cover the cost.

The setup for this one would have taken me months with the wife.

My buddies wonder how it was my wife that suggested getting the new shop, truck, garage etc. I have to constantly explain to them that if you do it right, SHE will suggest it. It just takes a little time and finesse.

You got the most important thing out of the way (marrying her), now build your shop!

Dropped this ash 2 yrs ago and finally got to the trunk. My intent was to carry it out with the bucket and cut later but I forgot how big it was. Cut it up and hauled it out. Six trips and splitting it later. Have a beech in the woods that the storms took down. Pulling that out tomorrow. CFE6E691-4457-4D4B-9E8E-8B2B57698E42.jpeg A3D3B749-18FD-4F86-B55C-CEB9BC7C095D.jpeg

Got distracted by a windfall oak before I got to the beech. Went for that instead

Did a drain/flush/fill of the coolant on my BX. Just pulled the lower radiator hose off, as well as the bottom hose of the overflow tank.

Made a mess, which I cleaned up before the Boxer got into it.

I subsoiled before Hurricane Delta which meant that the ground was still soaked even a week after the storm but i still had to disc, seed/fertilizer, and cover before the next rain.

Yup, I dropped a wheel off in a ripper trench and down she went. :( Nope, not coming out.

Used my L3560 all week. Dug some creosote bushes out, exposed my old septic system to have it evaluated and permitted, and re-organized the garage. Wouldn't be without my backhoe and pallet forks!
