What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I hope not, but it appears that it is thru the color coat. I had some deep scratches from new that showed yellow, I carefully filled them with Kubota touch up paint, then sanded with very fine wet or dry followed by a polish. Turned out perfect but the scratches weren’t so wide.

Maybe try the compound first, followed by the touch up method you describe?

Got everything ready last night so I could beat the heat this morning and pour 6 bags of Quikcrete in the gap I cut in the driveway. When bag #4 got opened, the mixer sounded very unhappy and quit. Fortunately, the job turned out to be a 4-1/2 bag job, because I had to mix by hand to finish. Did a little troubleshooting and think I may have found a problem.

New run cap ordered. Got a few more small concrete projects and don’t wanna mix it by hand.

Got the first 1.5 yards of #57 along the front edge of the parking spot. Backfill and seeding will wrap it up. May have to cut a shallow swale to divert water to the street end.

Certainly worth a try, just don’t use one that contains wax or other coating so painting can be done if needed. Using compound first would show the extent of the damage that may need painting.

Finished mods for the fel to connect my lane shark. Fab’d a few mounts, got hoses made and installed. Mounted a manual valve, so only three more hoses to fit…

Moved 10 more yards around and did some more earth moving yesterday. Used the box blade to level out some other areas of the yard as well. My son got about an hour of seat time with me while I was making piles around the yard.

I used the pressure washer to foam cannon the LX, wash all the dirt off, and grease all the zerks after the old stuff washed away. I'll have an additional sprinkler zone added in a few weeks and then I'll seed this area plus all the areas I leveled.

Needed another hour or so of daylight to finish. I should've started a bit earlier today. I will say that the mini makes this type of task so much easier/faster than with the tractor. If I had a skiddie, I'm betting it would take about 1/10 of the time as with the mini. But, the mini did just fine.

I'm betting that it will take much more time to bring loads of material in from my storage "yard". I'll get it finished up this week. It should add another 1000 sqft of parking space.

I needed to replant sunflower seeds for September/October. The first planting didn't germinate or all the seeds washed. The other food plot, the sunflower plants are doing good.

Had to remove a big 'nest' of hay bale netting that I didn't see in the grass along my road frontage.

I wish people would be more responsible about securing items on trailers and flatbed truck beds.

I regularly find buckets, fence wire, T-posts, hats, gloves, hand tools, hay string, you name it.

Normally I would have spotted this....but the grass was high and I was watching my mirror for traffic...since I was right up near the road. What a mess.

You may have to burn some of it out, hopefully not

Thanks, that was one of my first projects when we bought the place and I learned quickly its a tad too small, but way better then nothing like I grew up with. I've got more hardwood then I know what to do with at the moment, as a guy down the road was building a house last year and I got cords and cords of unprocessed wood from him. I also have more pine then I know what to do with but that is reserved for the outdoor fire pit so I go through it much slower. I wish I could heat primarily with wood but we only have a large open fireplace which gets used a ton and being that it's a small house it's does alright. we keep the thermostat at 58 in the winter.

I didn’t want to have to try to clean gravel out of the yard (as if I had a nice lawn) so we’re shoveling the first yard and a half along the edge of the driveway. Put in a new flower bed for the missus, too. Darn if she didn’t plant two table lamps trying to grow some fancy lamp posts.
Oh, btw, the missus is actually encouraging me to get a dump trailer. I don’t think she likes shoveling #57 gravel.

And he had to use his “tractor” to pull it out and drag it to the burn pile
