After waiting just over 4 months from the time I put a deposit down I finally got my Grand L60 L3560 yesterday! Had to wait on all the hydraulic valves and implements. I still don't have the grapple nor the fork set. Cab and AC are nice down here in the 105F SW desert! Today I bolted on my old man double steps and learned how to set the display. However, it is displaying kph instead of MPH and the manual doesn't have a hint on how to change it. Haven't figured it out yet, thus my trip to the forum.
Good to know, but I guess know I am going to have to go though the rest of them to see what they do.
The WSM tells you what most of them do.Good to know, but I guess know I am going to have to go though the rest of them to see what they do.
Ran the stump grinder and got rid of all my stumps that aren't covered by brush. Finally got the hang of this thing. The first time it was used, went too fast/cut too deep and stalled the tractor a few times. Never stalled this time or sputtered, took it easy the whole way and the LX handled all the cedar and buckthorn stumps like a champ.

What happened to the old one? Cracked bowl? Housing?
Wow... Couldn't even bother to make a clean cut on that boot, sloppy workmanship. New boot makes a world of a difference.Put a new dust boot on for the loader control Lever. When the 3rd function was installed they cut the boot to run the wiring harness. Land Pride install manual even says to cut the boot. I get it…time is money and it’s very putsy pushing the harness through the boot. Messick’s has the boot for less than $5. Now the boot covers the wiring and the wire channel in the control lever. Yeah…I just couldn’t live with that on a new tractor.Wow... Couldn't even bother to make a clean cut on that boot, sloppy workmanship. New boot makes a world of a difference.
That’s pretty cool.
Found a new use for duct tape!
Indeed!Found a new use for duct tape!
Looks like you dogged a bullet. Hearing the sound of the casting break must have been a heart-stopper.It’s a standard size so I both called Woodland Mills and sourced local. Woodland Mills was as cheap or cheaper than local suppliers and other online suppliers so I ordered one from Woodland Mills. Replaced the bearing and checked bed gap this morning before church. Needed some wood chips in a natural area and had some stuff needing chipping. Ran it for about an hour with no issues. I’ve also put 3 or 4 PTO Hours on it brush hogging so no apparent damage to the tractor. $88.00 all in seemed like a minor miracle considering the egregiousness of my operator error.

What do you mean by "check the bed gap"? Is that the front-to-back movement, parallel to the shaft axis of rotation? Like what a thrust bearing would adjust?
Also, my condolences.
